PM's returned.
Car has Kooks 1 7/8" headers...... (added to description)
9's would be an easy task for those who asked. If I still own the car within a months time I will be installing the Yank 4000SS and taking it back to the track to get the 9 second slips.![Chug! Chug! Chug!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_chug.gif)
There are several ways to get it into the 9's if not solid mid 9's.
1. reduce weight (the car is heavy right now, 3800# with me in it -all stock
accessories plus weight added from bolts ons.)
2. add boost, the D1 is not near max impeller speed making only 9#
3. increase the stall to get the 60' foot down (probably the easiest)
I didn't really anticipate this much performance. I had not planned to cage or cut up the car (with a FMIC, etc.) and 9's were not my goal. I built the car to be a fun 'street' car.

(thats why its always cheaper buying one already done) I have a stock bottom end/heads on mine- and i have paper work for 27,000+the 19k when the car started out stock with 19k miles.. rule of thumb- ya get about 1/2 whatcha put into it.. lol

You said if you didn't sell it you were going to go with a bigger converter and take it back to the track for 9's. Well, I thought I would see if you still plan on doing that. I would love to come watch this thing run.
What track do you go to? I am not to far from you. So, let me know if you decide to go.
TTT for an awesome car!
