Default 2000 Trans Am, heavily modded, Independent Rear Suspension

Alright I am having to sell this car because I am heading off to China for medical school here in a month and need it gone. I'd love to keep it but with just getting married and moving out of the country I really need the money instead of storing it for 5 years. The car is in immaculate condition and runs like a champ. The engine and car has 116K miles but has zero leaks and runs like brand new while the transmission is a M12 T56 from a GTO with only 5K miles! I also custom engineered a C4 corvette independent rear suspension in it which came out of a 95 vette and it only has about 62K miles on it. The paint has a few scratches here and there, just the usual from daily driving though. Below is the list of mods and a link for the pictures.

For pictures go to http://www.fquick.com/99_orange_SS

Suspension:

C5 brake conversion
Hotchkis strut tower brace
VBP custom rate monospring on IRS
Lou Gigliotti G2 Super Springs on front
BMR subframe connectors
Torque arm removal for weight reduction (not necessary for the IRS setup)
Aluminum Double Adjustable Toe-Rod assembly from Exotic Muscle
Revalved Bilstein shocks

Drivetrain:

M12 T56 from GTO w/ Z06 gear ratios and triple cone synchro's
Pro 5.0 shifter w/ loui short stick
Fidanza aluminum flywheel
LS6 clutch
1995 C4 corvette IRS

Engine:

LS6 intake
Aftermarket lid w/ K&N air filter
AIR and EGR delete
25% underdrive pulley
1.75 comp cam rockers
Custom tune
QTP electric cutout
Pacesetter Ceramic coated longtubes
NGK TR55IX plugs
MSD spark plug wires

Exterior:

SSR GT1 rims
5000K HID head lights
Aftermarket raptor hood
Custom stripes

Interior:

Corbeau suede race seats
Custom cadence sound system
Alpine stereo head unit with hard wired connection for any mp3 player
Custom suede interior
Rear seat delete
Remote start button
Custom shifter ****
T-tops with t-top covers

Maintenance:

Newer Alternator and serpentine assembly pulleys and serpentine belt
Freshly seafoamed
New fuel filter
Fresh AMSOIL 5W30 w/ AMSOIL oil filter (in my experience they are far better than mobile one)

If you have any questions just let me know and feel free to make offers. Please just remember the uniqueness of the car and how it is only the 2nd 4th generation Fbody with an IRS installed ever done, second to Jay Cutshaw's 94 Firebird. I am asking $13,500 to start off with and we can go from there. Please feel free to pm me about any inquiry's or offers!

I am located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in TX.

I guess I'll be the one to tell you that the car is way overpriced. You'll be lucky to get 10-11k at the very best.

If the car didn't have the IRS then yes it would be way overpriced of course. The car is one of a kind, being there is only one other like it and thus makes it a rarity. 15K is not a bad asking price for such a car, especially if you have no idea what it cost and took to have something like that done. There is way more work and time in it then there is a rebuilt engine which would put a Fbody in the same if not higher price range.

Plus I am free to offers and ready for someone to make one.

Any pics of the irs setup? I only found 7 pics on the fquick account and none of the irs.

I think the price is fair, you will just need to wait for someone to want a f-body that actually feels stable on the highway. Most people who want our cars just want to go straight.

Are you on dfwstangs? Your two cars sound familiar.

Thanks, I'm about to pull the mounts down to paint them so they match better and to get rid of dirt build up.

I think the price is more than fair for such an exotic setup. Nice job! Too bad I'm waiting on my 5th gen to be delivered or I would seriously consider picking up this car.
