Cool 1999 Camaro SS

1999 Camaro SS SLP #840, navy blue metallic, auto, hardtop, chrome SS wheels, CME, power options, traction control, SLP options were the Auburn diff & Castrol Syntec oil. This car is VERY clean for the miles, very minor rock chips, no dings or dents, under the car is nearly perfect, the car does not get driven in rain or snow. I changed the interior from neutral to ebony. The interior came out of an '02 Z w/ 45k on it, the interior is excellent condition. The car is detailed religiously with Tropi-Care & my PC buffer, the finish looks incredible.

The car has 76,998 miles on it right now. Due to an oil pump pick up o-ring problem, I put a new GM LS1 short block in it. (Purchased from Skoggin Dickey as a '04 GTO "long block") The new short block has about 10,000 miles on it, everything was installed professionally, no signs that the motor ever came out of the car. Have receipts for many of the items on the car.

Here is a list of the mods:
-SPEED INC SI5 CAM (DURATION 231/237, LIFT .589/.595, LSA 112) (New when motor was swapped.)
-TEA 5.3L STAGE 1.5 HEADS w/PRC GOLD VALVESPRINGS, TITANIUM RETAINERS
-LS6 INTAKE
-JET HOT LT HEADERS (no emission provisions)
-HOOKER OFF ROAD Y PIPE
-SLP CENTER MOUNT EXHAUST (S.S. muffler)
-SLP LID w/ K&N
-VIGILANTE 3600 STALL CONVERTER
-TRANS-GO SHIFT KIT
-GM DEEP TRANS PAN (700-R4)
-B&M 24,000 GVW TRANS COOLER
-MOTIVE 3.73 GEARS w/ EATON POSI
-T/A COVER WITH BEARING SUPPORTS
-MOSER AXLES: ARP WHEEL STUDS, WELDED AXLE TUBES
-BMR LOWERING SPRINGS
-BMR TUBULAR LCAs
-BMR LCA RELOCATION BRACKETS
-UMI BOLT-IN SUB FRAME CONNECTORS
-SVO 30# INJECTORS
-RACETRONIX INTANK FUEL PUMP & HOT WIRE HARNESS
-160° THERMOSTAT
-SLP UNDERDRIVE CRANK PULLEY
-SLP FAN CONTROL SWITCH
-QTP 3.5" S.S. CUTOUT
-PORTED & POLISHED STOCK THROTTLE BODY (Smokin87TA)
-AERO FORCE INTERCEPTOR SCAN GAUGE (In a custom center console pod)
-MSD 8.5MM SUPER CONDUCTOR WIRES
-NGK PLUGS
-SLP SS GRILLE
-NITTO 555Rs (Fronts have about 100 miles on them, rears are over 50% tread.)
-PANASONIC CQ-C7401U MP3 PLAYER w/ ALPINE DOOR SPEAKERS, ALPINE 10" TYPE R SUB IN A DRIVER'S SIDE SUBTHUMP BOX, ALPINE AMP
-T/A POWER ANTENNAE
-TRANS AM SPEEDO BEZEL
-SHORTEND A4 SHIFTER
-Dyno tuned @ Speed Inc. The car made 420rwhp/388rwtq

The car has been 11.30s on MT radials. I have not raced the car since last fall, I've made 12 passes on the current set up.

I have lots of pics of the car & some videos too.

The car needs nothing, it is in great mechanical & physical condition, I'm just ready for a different car. There are lots of local on the board that I'm sure would vouch for the car.

I have set of practically brand new Billet Specialty Street Lites w/ MT radials & Moroso Drag Specials that will be for sale separately or I'd talk about a price with both sets of wheels.

Thanks!

Jason

SOLD!!!

Price is not completely firm, I'd listen to reasonable offers.

Good luck with the sale Jason, hope you enjoyed it at much as I did. I still miss that one. To anyone interested, I bought it from the original owner when it had 21k miles on it and sold it to the current owner aorund 62k. The car has never had any damage and is one of the nicest looking SSs around, I always got compliments.

Here are a couple I just snapped in the garage, the lighting & flash is messing the colors up, but I think it gives a good impression of how the seats and everything look. I can take some better ones outside tomorrow.

Here is a vid I just shot with my digital camera, the car has been parked for a little over 3 hours, so this is pretty much a cold start.
