Yup its true guys, even after putting an incredible amount of thought, time, money and effort into this car, I think it may have to go. Reason being I am currently on my third surgery right now and I am looking at a year+ recovery for this next one, without being able to drive a 6 speed. Doesn’t make any financial sense, and I just could not have seen this coming when I was adding everything to the car...
I really will not have the ability to take the engine out and part everything out as I would like to, as my surgery will prohibit me from doing so... figured I offer it as a complete package to someone.
Here goes....
General Info:
1999 Camaro, 6 speed, T-Tops, Ebony Leather leather.
Interior:
-Ebony interior out of a 2002 Camaro SS.
-Ebony TransAm door panels
-McEwen White faced gauges with Transam Bezel and blue LED’s for illumination.
-Ebony 3 gauge pillar with AutoMeter C2 gauges, (Air/Fuel, Tran Temp, Fuel Pressure-electric)
-MOMO shift ****.
-New black carpet
-JVC CD player installed.
ALL INTERIOR PIECES HAVE ABOUT 5K miles worth of use.
Exterior
-Custom Pepper Gray Metallic Paint job, with 4 layers of clear coat. SS scoop painted a metallic black. Absolutely awesome paint job, $7,000 worth of work and completed only 2K miles ago.
-Hood and door jams were painted too, this is a complete paint job, no half-assed work here.
-Chrome ZR1’s with SS center caps. 17X9.5 fronts with 275/40’s on the front, 17X11 rear wheels with 315/35’s on the rear.
-SS spoiler
-MBA rear brushed aluminum CAMARO fill-ins.
-Billet brushed aluminum grille in front.
Suspension/Brakes
-Granatelli G2 springs, lowered about 1.75” all around.
-Spohn adjustable panhard bar.
-Bilstein Shocks.
-Baer front track kit installed with stainless braided lines and oversized rotors.
Transmission
-D&D performance modified T56 with steel shift fork and upgraded parts.
-Mcleod single disk organic/Kevlar disk with billet flywheel and adjustable master cylinder.
-8K miles on transmission itself and all associated parts. New rear output shaft seal and tail shaft bushing installed last week.
Engine
-Bought this engine from a member on this board and it has been awesome. It only has dyno time plus about 300 miles of highway driving on it. This thing is brand new and runs STRONG.
-410 stroker engine.
-6.0 Iron block bored .040 over, line honed with torque plates,
decked, checked for clearance.
Lunati Pro series Crank #JO711ER 4340 Forged Steel Reluctor ring installed
Lunati Rods #LTE9 BILLET 6.125
Diamond Custom Nitrous -6cc Pistons
Dianond PRO-SELECT RINGS / H13 tool steel pins
ARP Head studs/rod bolts/main caps, o ringed
FMS custom Cam 247/253 .627/.642 112LSA
Comp adjustible timing chain/ ARP Crank bolt
ASP Underdrive pullies
Heads
-Stage 3 LS6 heads, true 243 casting, with large 2.08 1.6 valves, COMP 921 springs and all the goodies. These heads flow in the 340’s at .600 lift. Currently using COMP hardened pushrods.
Exhuast
-New Kooks 1 7/8" Headers Stainless Steel.
-New Kooks 3" Off Road Y pipe.
-SLP Dual Dual exhaust.
Induction/Fuel
-FAST 90MM Intake
-Nick Williams 90mm TB
-Smooth bellows
-SLP 85MM MAF
-TSP 85 MM Lid painted to match
-Fast Toys Ram Air
-Walbro 340 intank pump
-Lucas 42 lb injectors
Probably leaving out some parts, as there is just so much to keep up with lol. Send me your questions if you have any. Car is in the garage in Georgia, if you want to arrange a meeting or pickup that is doable. I might be able to arrange delivery if you are within 400 miles.
Car is fully tuned and ready to drive, as far as power goes this is what it has pulled.
-515rwhp/511rwtq through the SLP dual dual.
-545rwhp/533 rwtq with cutout after break-in.
This motor can take a 400 shot safely, if you can get it to the ground with a maximizer/controller. Its all up to you. Goal for this car was to have a completely streetable car, full weight and interior that could drive to the track and run 9’s. I see no problem with it being able to do so.
I already have an offer for the car for 18K so Im seeing if anyone on the board is interested for around this price. This is A LOT of car all in nearly new condition for the price. I am open to ideas as well, including practical trades, automatic only unfortunately due to my condition. Might be looking for a truck. Let me know, thanks

Wont have pics up till this weekend.
Stock rear end is back in, due to me having to sell. 12 bolt is gone, that is about the ONLY thing this car is missing, but it drives great on the stock 10 bolt, just cant throw the slicks on it.
Thanks

Is the car originally an SS? What was the original interior/exterior color? About how many miles are on the body? Any major accidents?
What compression is the engine? Do you know who built it and did the heads?
The car sounds very promising!

Thanks!

Car was originally, a Z28, Navy Blue Metallic exterior and tan interior. Complete color change on both ends though... 0 accidents, not even a fender bender.
Yes it does have weld in subframe connectors, did since it was new, so its a very tight ride.
Engine runs on pump gas, 11.1 compression right now. I sprayed it on the dyno in North Carolina here once, with a 200 shot, spun the nittos on the dyno but pulled out 758/760ish... like i said, if you can control it... you can spray more if you are serious, have a fuel cell, controller, etc. All numbers i posted were on 93 octane pump gas.
Engine was built by a engine shop in Cali, sorry dont have the name of the shop, but I could get it for you... Heads were done by Race Prep Inc. in CA.
Engine is tried and true and the setup definately was solidly built and puts down the number, you wont be disappointed![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Josh wish i could, just wont even be in any shape to work on the car let alone swap stuff out, or pay for the swap. Plus if i cant bang gears I dont want a muscle car at this point, just personal preference. U know what i mean Ron
