Default 92 Lexus SC400 - buy it b4 I change my mind

110k... but don't let the miles fool you, a Lexus V8 can hit 300,000 miles easy. This car runs superb! The engine literally purrs (or roars when you get on it) and the transmission shifts so smoothly you can hardly feel it (unless you have it in sport mode). If you've never owned a Lexus 8 cylinder, you don't know what smooth is. Start the car, place a glass of water on the engine and watch nothing happen. :p Smoothest 8 cylinder in the world.

A few points and extras:

*Windows go up and down smoothly with no hesitation
*Power tilt wheel will automatically move out of the way when car is shut off
*Moonroof on the SC400 is enormous
*Valet mode so trunk cannot be opened
*Power EVERYTHING (seats, tilt/telescopic, moonroof, windows, steering, brakes, mirrors, trunk, fuel door)
*Includes factory manual, original first aid kit , brochure AND two ads
*I am including two leather care kits since my new car does not have leather
Specs:

V8 4.0 250HP Four cam dual distributor (one for each bank) 32 valve engine
4 Speed automatic transmission
4 wheel independant, double wishbone suspension
Front and rear stabilizer bars
Speed sensitive rack & pinion steering
4-wheel ventilated anti-lock power disk brakes
16" alloy wheels w/low mileage 225/55R16 tires
Drivers side airbag and 3 point safety belts front and rear
2 speed intermittent wipers
Liquid crystal inside Day/Night rearview mirror
Heated side mirrors
Halogen high beam headlamps
Theft Deterrent System
Electronic analog instrumentation
Digital Clock
Power windows
Remote entry system
Power tilt and telescopic steering
Heated seats, Drivers is 8 way (tilt, height, lateral, lumbar) with 2 memories
Leather Seats, Headrests, door armrests, console
Leather wrapped steering wheel
Cruise control
Automatic climate control
Electronic fuel and trunk release
Power tilt and slide Moonroof
Traction control system
Color keyed rear spoiler
Lexus/Nakamichi 7 speaker premium audio system AM/FM/Cassette with 12 disc trunk mounted CD changer & 8 " subwoofer

Recent work:

Brand new windsheild. Original one had a chip in it and insurance paid to have it replaced
New timing belt, plugs, wires, caps, rotors.($1,300)
New front brakes (Lexus originals) 12,000 miles ago
New Alternator ($380) approx. one year ago
Body:

There are blemishes. I've taken photos of what you need to be concerned with. I keep no secrets that it has flaws but it still gets lots of looks and comments regardless of them.

Interior:

I've owned it for 4 years and it is in better shape than when I got it. Scrubbed/treated the interior well several times but there remains three minor flaws.

Small dab of something (glue?) on passenger seat
Two very small cigarette burns over head
Normal (common problem for any SC400) cracks on dash vents (pictures)

Mechanical Quirks:

Passenger side window will go up but not down using drivers side switch. It works perfectly from passenger side.
A/C blows warm

Until I come to my senses (or inherit some loot) I'll let this go for $5,500

I live in NY

Hey bro! I have driven it almost exclusively highway back and forth to work with some city and it usually averaged 20-24 depending on the balance.

Hey man, I wish I had the money right now. BTW, did you get an estimate on what it would cost to fix the a/c? Do you know what specifically is wrong with it? Also how's the body? Dents? What about the paint? Look pretty good in the pics...
