Gauging interest:1969 Firebird, 1970 C10 stepside
Tossing the idea around of selling these two so that I can get a jetboat. The '69 is basically a rolling body, no interior, motor, tranny. I have lots of new pieces for it as well. Needs front fenders and rear 1/4's repaired, trunk floor (new one in my garage). I began re-wiring car with Painless kit but stopped working on it after I pulled the LS1/6spd.
The '70 C10 stepside has the '67 front end on it (the better looking frontend) and no motor/tranny/interior. It needs a hood, new front/rear rollpan. I believe it has 4:56 gears as it was a 250/3spd truck. I'd turn roughly 3K rpms at 45-50ish with my old 350/350.
I don't have a price yet b/c I haven't checked to see what the market average is for them, but they are very much in demand. The '67-72 trucks are extremely popular, as is the 1st gen Fbody.

Wes, the rims on the '69 in the pics are currently on my '01. It now has some 14x6's and 15x10's on it. I'll throw in the black 4th Gen T/A dash as well since the factory one needed replacing and I started cutting it out. I can get some more pics possibly late today or tomorrow after work.

yeah I have been looking for a project car. you have a good mind. I have been thinking the same thing as you. put all the 4th gen goodies in a 1st gen. how much would you want down so that we could get the ball rolling. ya know a downpayment now then the rest once I come and get it. let me know what you think. is the pic in the sig the car or is that just a pic of a 69 t/a. and let me know what parts you do have for it. year one is about 4 miles from the house and they have everything. let me know what you think. I get paid 1 week from wednesday and I could def. get you somthing then. and then finish payment once I make arrangements to pick it up.let me know if that is cool
thanks

The car in my sig is how mine would look when completed, except it'd have the ProTouring treatment. New parts I have: T/A spoiler, front turn signal bezels, front bumpers ( plastic headlight covers), trunk pan, black headliner, front parking lights, HID looking headlights, trunk lid. I just put new leaf springs and shackles under the rear. Also installed a new P/S box with about 2.75 turns lock to lock. Needs pitman arm (stock manual pitman arm diameter won't fit shaft). I had the whole 4th gen interior, but already sold the black T/A seats and 6spd console. The dash is in pretty good shape. I have a gauge cluster that I disassembled to fit my Autometers that will also be included. I also have a new TH400 crossmember if you want to modify that to fit the M6. We can work out the payment details. I'm sure I forgot some of the parts I have for it. There's stuff all over my garage and inside the car. If you want to run a fuel cell, I have a new (1 gal run through it) RCI aluminum 20 gal. with sump, return line, vent, foam that I can give you a good price on as well. I used it to fire up my LS1 and it's never been mounted.
