Gauging interest in my '68 Camaro/LS1 conversion.
I am thinking about selling my '68 Camaro/LS1 Conversion. Now that I am in college I need something more practical. Some older pic of before I put the cage in and painted the interior can be found on page 8 of my website in sig. The car ran a best of 12.5@115 back in Houston before the cam, and a best of 12.9@110 in Lubbock w/ a DA of 5200 and losing traction in 2nd gear after the cam. Putting that into a conversion, it said I would be running a 12.02@117. All times were made on street tires. I don’t know how much people care about conversion factors though. The car drives fine, I made 23mpg on the highway on a 9 hour trip recently. I have put about $38,000 into building this car, 1/3 of which was body work. Mods are in sig.
Asking $30,000 also willing to trade + cash depending on car value.
