1998 Black TA WS6 clone
SOLD. Thank you Chris. Take car of her. Bob
Update: the car is spending the month of December in eastern North Carolina.
Black 1998 TA WS6 clone for $10,995 as pictured with Speedline WS6 rims (widened in rear) and Goodyear Eagle F1 G3-D3s.
If you want it CHEAP I will demod it completely (the lower list with the prices on it) and install all the stock parts including 16" rims and sell it for $8,900.
The car has currently 107,000 miles. Naturally, it has all the TA stuff: t-tops, leather, 2 remotes, Monsoon stereo. I've done no engine mods, and according to the records none have ever been done. The car has always received Mobil 1 oil and timely oil changes. It runs and drives great!! Paint is very good, but has a couple dings, scratches and chips of a daily driver. It is no show car, but it does look great inside and out. I constantly receive compliments, and most people can't believe it is a '98, they think it's newer. The interior does not look like 100K miles - very little wear showing on the grey leather (and we all now how the drivers seat wear!). I am the second owner, and the first owner worked for GM. The Carfax is clean - I could forward you the email showing it was just recently done, OR you could run the VIN yourself.
Upgrades that I do NOT plan to remove from the car:
Original M6 transmission was recently rebuilt with all the better parts
LS6 clutch assembly
01 hydraulics assembly
Factory Hurst shifter
New alternator and both belts
Recent Power Steering pump and factory cooler
NGK 55 plugs and PPC wires
Vinci 170 degree thermostat
Rebuilt front brake calipers
PBR front brake pads
Duralast Gold rear brake pads
ATE Super Blue brake fluid
ARP wheel studs
Skip shift eliminator
Aftermarket front door speakers and rear sill speakers
FYI: just replaced the front lenses, blub sockets, and DRL module
I have a clear Florida title in hand. The car currently has all the WS6 items installed, except the rear emblem, but it's NOT a WS6 car. I have invested over $17,500 in it.
IF you want the car for $8900, then the following list of parts will removed and replaced with the stock parts:
Real GM WS6 hood ($1000)
Speedline WS6 rims, stock width in front, widened to 11" in rear ($1000)
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's, 275/40-17 front and 315/35-17 rear ($1000)
SLP air lid ($100)
K&N filter ($55)
SLP Loudmouth cat-back ($350)
12-disc cd changer, recently rebuilt ($250)
Let me know what other information would be helpful, email me at: ramairbrc@hotmail.com.
There a few pics below, but here is the link to all the recent pics: http://www.musclecarsoforlando.100me.../Bob%20Cherry/

Thanks for asking. I did adjust it from $12,500 to $11,900 recently. But it now has 105K miles.
If there are mods that you want to keep, but others you do not want I would consider removing those mods and lowering the price. For example, if you wanted to remove the SLP SS/Firehawk springs ($350) and Koni Single Adj shocks ($755), I'd replace them with stock parts and reduce the price another $500.
Remember, there are over $5200 in mods, but only $3000 more in price.
