Default FS: 2001 Trans Am WS6 (Black)

2001 Pontiac Trans Am WS6
6 Speed
22,900 Miles
Black Exterior / Dark Granite Interior

The issue of GMHTP that the car was used in for a Tech Article will be given with the car.
It was dynoed right after the Heads were put on for the magazine article.
Dyno: Just under 450 rwhp (through open exhaust)

Car has Chrome ZR1's with good tread on the tires (maybe 4 to 5k miles on the tires)
Here is a complete list as much as I can remember (there may be other things)… This may also be kind of tedious but I wanted to be thorough

Engine
Patriot LS6 6L Heads
231/237 TSP Cam (TSP Tuned)
Underdrive Pulley
TSP Smoke Airlid
TSP Ported Throttle Body
Taylor ThunderVolt 10.4 mm wires
Billet MAF Ends
160* Hypertech Thermostat (Fan Speeds have been changed to match)
Optima Red Top

Exhaust
Hooker Jet Hot Coated Long Tube Headers
TSP True Duals (X-Pipe)
One of the things I will most about my car… it sounds awesome through this exhaust with the Cam (Ask anyone that has heard it)

Suspension
BMR Lowering Springs (Lowered 1”)
BMR LCA’s Tubular Chrome Moly (Silver)
BMR SFC Boxed (Silver)
BMR STB (Silver)

Rear End
Moser 12 Bolt with Eaton Posi and 4.10 Gears (Has some whine at highway speeds like all the other Mosers with 4.10’s) Has about 4,000 miles on it, Never been to the track.

Appearance and other stuff
MBA Billet Pedals
Pro 5.0 Shifter
Spec Stg 3 Clutch
Walbro 255lph In Tank Fuel Pump
Silver WS6 Gauge Overlay
Autometer Ultralite Silver Gauge (Fuel Pressure and Water Temp) on A Pillar
Harlan Shift Light
SLP Line Lock
Clifford Matrix 3 Alarm with Remote Start (Remote Start Can be deactivated if you don’t want it since you have to be careful when using it since it’s a manual transmission)

Asking $23,000 obo (Car is currently located in Lubbock, TX)

I have babied this car and hate to see it go. But I have bills and a wedding to pay for. So my baby has to go.

For a few years the car was a garage queen, getting to come out only on nice weather weekends.

Dial Up BEWARE Large Files
Here's some pictures some are old but the car hasn't changed much

The car has chrome ZR1's on it now and no banner on the windsheild anymore.

This Picture is a little newer but still kinda old. (I had draglites on the car for about 6 months when it was garage kept. But since I never went to the track I sold them for the ZR1 that are currently on the car)

The car also has Dark Tint on it, blackout fog light covers, and a silver Trans Am insert in the rear.
I also have rear taillight Blackouts that are not currently on the car but I still have them in my garage.

how much whine does the car have in the city? how much on the highway (how noticable is it?) Is it possible the gears just need to be adjusted?

There is no rear end whine in the city... you start noticing it around 45-50 mph... when you decelerate it doesn't whine ... It's done it since brand new from Moser (Gears were setup at Moser).. the rear only has about 4,000 miles on it... I called and talked to others right when I got it and they said it is normal... Moser said the high performace rear ends just do that... I've talked to others and they said they had the same problem but got the gear adjusted and it went away... so if you had the gears readjusted it would probably get rid of it...
