Most people might not know about these cars so if you do not understand something email me and I can explain the best I can. Sorry for the long post but it can go longer. I am in mo hurry to sell the car so the price stays close to what I am asking. I am asking $32,000 as it was appraised for $34k and that is what I have it insured for. I can send pics to serious people only please. Might consider trades for a Z06 but it must have low miles, close to stock, and in 100% perfect shape.
This is one of the best DeLoreans you will find. It is a 5-speed with around 30k miles. I have owned this car for almost 4 years. During those years I have turned my car into what it is today. Since I have bought the car I have added or changed the following items (I know I am forgetting a few things):
Seat skins replaced in 2002, a/c conversion, valve adjustment at 27k miles, lowered suspension kit, DMC Houston floor mats, PJ Grady headliners, all struts were replaced back in 02, rare BAE turbo kit which really wakes the car up (actually made specifically for the DeLorean, turbos were going to be available in 84 but it didn't happen) with Dynomax SS muffler installed in 03. The system is completely ceramic coated outside only, custom HID headlights, custom stereo that looks like it came from the factory, new weatherstrip kit, trailing arm bolts, fuel sending unit, new fuel pump, SS fuel lines, coolant hoses changed in 01 before I bought the car. Custom Brembo front drilled, slotted and vented rotors, cap and rotor, plugs and wires. CV joints were repacked in 03, SS coolant bottle, new Optima yellow top battery, GM alternator conversion, polyurethane steering column bushing, PJ Grady tailight circuit boards, water pump was replaced in 01 before I bought the car. The wheels are Enkei RS-5's 16x7 up front and 17X7 in back. The tires are Yokohama AVS ES100's front 205/40(I think 40) and rear 245/45. All fluids were flushed and changed this winter and I change the oil every 2k miles to preserve the turbo with Mobil 1. We have completed a leak down test and all cylinders are within spec. We have pulled the engine and transmission to clean and repaint the rear section of the frame and clean, paint, polish the engine to what you see now. I do have pictures that show the turbo install and the engine painting project. During the engine project we replaced every o-ring and gasket that we encountered. Any stripped bolts were helicoiled and are now much stronger. This car was featured in Gullwing Magazine 3 times, once for the turbo install, once for the HID headlight install and once to be the featured car. It is also featured in the 2005 and 2006 DeLorean calendar. This car has won many awards including a 1st place award at the 2004 DeLorean Car Show in Pigeon Forge, TN. All the stereo equipment was installed using existing screws or bolts (no new holes were drilled or created). I am all about tasteful work and to make sure that the car can go back to 100% stock if needed. Everything on the car works perfectly. I have made sure that this car would always set an example of what a DeLorean should be and would be if it came out today.

The other thing about this car is if you want something that you will get noticed in this would do it. The car looks sweet at night with lights reflecting off the stainless steel. Plus you will not lose money with a car like this. The values are only going to go up every year.

With a safe 4-5 lbs it is around 175-180 hp and 200 tq. Remember the car only weighs 2800 lbs so it is surprisingly quick. Stock they only were rated at 130 hp and 165 tq. This car is definitely not for racing but for nice spirited drives. The frame and suspension is all Lotus so it handles very nice.

Still for sale! The season is around the corner. I will accept nothing lower than $30k which means you will actually make money once you buy it. It is valued at $34k and it will only go up from here. This is also an investment opportunity. Thanks!
