1998 Z28 Convert. 6-speed - $9K
I’ve decided to sell my '98 Z28 Convertible, 6-speed, just in time for you to enjoy it this summer. It is silver with charcoal leather interior and black top. Z28 convertibles are very rare with the M6 transmission.
Factory features on this car include 6-speed, A/C, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Sport Seats, Power Driver's Seat, Clock, Tilt Steering Wheel, Dual Aibags, Keyless Entry, ABS Brakes, Traction control, Fog Lights, Rear Defogger, AM/FM, Cassette, Original Manuals, and Anti-Theft. It also features polished OEM corvette C5 rims (not the repro knockoffs), and Michelin Pilots with approx 50% tread life left.
Car is in great shape. The body is a 9 out of 10 and has never been hit and the paint shines wonderfully. The interior is 7 out of 10. It will however, need a convertible top in the next year or so. It doesn’t leak and looks OK, but it’s starting to get a little loose. Just being honest.
This is a classy car that also hauls butt. It’s just one of too many toys right now. This is your chance to get a great car for the summer sun!

Hey folks.... Here's answers to all your questions:
The VIN is: 2G1FP32G8W2137334
Mileage: 66470
Mods: SLP Y-pipe and Y2K rims/tires All else is stock.
I've owned the car since January. I bought it in Florida and drove it up. I put 7000 miles on it since picking it up. It passed the Maryland safety inspection just a few months ago. I use it as my daily driver right now - almost 90 miles a day. I consider it quite reliable.
Tha AC works well, there are no leaks. The trans is bawlky sometimes but that seems to be minor and probably hydraulics related. It's not bad.
I hope that helps.

The car had headers and no-cat Y-pipe when I bought it. That couldn't pass the visual inspection here in maryland so I bought a set of manifolds and cats (with 15kmi) from a guy here on LS1tech and installed them with the new slp y-pipe. It passed with flying colors. I didn't know then and I don't kow now if I have an SES light problem. When I installed the exhaust I hooked up all 4 O2 sensors and dove the car. It runs fine with whatever performance programming the previous owner did. If I had access to a programmer I'd probably reset the computer to the stock setting.
I think you're right about the lid. It was there when I bought it and didn't give it much thought.
