Thanks..my mom has a 1998 transam for sale but had no idea if it is a ls1 or ws6. After reading that i dont think it is either

OK.. An Ls1 is the motor.... It is an LS1. There is a Firebird witch is a V6 and the Trans Am is a V8 witch is a LS1. And a WS6 is a packege for the Trans am.. It is a Trans Am WS6 it has the Ram air hood and a few other things.... But there is no LS1 model the LS1 is what they call the motor... I guess that makes scence...

The ws.6's are 6 cylinders, and the LS1's are ram air trans ams..

So my mom has a 5.7 liter V8 engine, so that means she has an LS1?

I cant post pics on here they are too "large", if you want pics, and a pic of the original window sticker email me at Camochick0323@msn.com. The car has 64,000 miles on it, original owner, it is paid off so my mom has the title, never been wrecked, the car has been babied. My mom bought an 06' charger and just needs the money, but hates to see the car go. She is asking 9,500 OBO, and is located in Tampa Florida.
