NEW PRICE!!! $6,200. The car is complete. See later posts for updated pics. Thanks!
The car was never in an accident. The painting was just for restoration purposes only and I have a lot of pics to back that up. I can only send current pics but not the restoration pics as those are all printed out and no longer in the camera. The undercarrage doesn't even look like it was driven. Call Peter at 847-840-0829 or email me at dmcfan@hotmail.com. The car is in Des Plaines, IL
1989 Formula 350 bright red
T-tops, auto trans
61,000 miles
Mostly new or restored interior
Freshly restored undercarriage
Restored or replaced lenses
Fresh paint from behind the doors to the rear bumper
It's got TONS of mods, I can't even remember them all but here's the big
stuff:
- Vortech heads and vavletrain
- Crane Cam (don't remember the specs but have the card)
- Vortech compatible lower intake
- Full MSD ignition
- SLP 1 3/4" headers, with Jet Hot coating and an off-road pipe
- Flowmaster exhaust
- B&M stall torque converter (something like a 2400 stall I think?)
- B&M Trans cooler, shift kit
- Jegster weld-in sub-frame connectors
- Lakewood rear lower control arms
- Various other little bolt-ons like TPIS air foil, K&N cold air, etc.
Here are some of the newer parts that have been installed during the
restoration:
- All new brakes (pads, rotors, master)
- New Alternator
- New water pump
- New power steering pump
- Mostly new suspension (rear shocks/springs, plus some or most of the
front steering linkage, and new front struts)
- New tires (BFG KDW in 245/50/16 size)
- New windshield

Just to clarify for this week the car is $7,500 but you DO get all of the parts needed to put the interior together. So even with it being apart right now you would still be getting a complete car. Then you would just have to pay for the paint work. I have seen higher mile ones with not nearly this much work done go for atleast $9,000. Thanks for looking.

Do an autotrader search. There are some going over $10k that were never even restored and have higher miles. It is a rare car and everything is super clean as you can see in the pics. This is what the market is showing. It is just like 01 SS/WS6's still going for $20k.

FYI - prices are negotiable. So instead of making comments on the price of a car, I would rather see people who are actually interested in the car make offers. Make resonable offers. There is a market out there for 3rd gens like this. Go do a search for formula 350's most are only the 305. I realize you can get some LS1's for these prices but if you look at the market it shows where I am at.

Just throwing it out there but how about $6,500 as the car sits, and all of the parts to finish the car up. It is a strong runner and should hit low 13's maybe high 12's.

Well the car will be back from paint around Wednesday. The interior is back together as well so it will now be a complete car.
I am going to ask $8,000 obo. For those who love 3rd gens this is a great one. Thanks!
