According to KBB it is WORTH about $12,200. Looks like a great car though. Good luck with the sale!

Way to much for a car with 72k miles on the car. Just like everyone else says, if you dont want opinions, dont post it here.

I go by NADA. That is what dealers use. Kbb is full of it. If so that is trade in value. If you dont like the price dont buy it. Its a great car and like I said, its worth it.

Well, KBB is not "full of it"......what I have found is that the NADA value is normally the max dollar amount the banks will loan on a car and KBB is what people will actually pay for the car. So as anyone that has been around these messageboards for awhile knows, you will never get the "worth" you are wanting to get out of your car.....especially with the miles it has.

I had a 1999 Trans am ws6 i got $9,500 for it as a trade in. I was asking 12,500. And it had 58,000 miles and had lots of mods. you're asking too much..

lol ok guys here is what banks use....Some banks use NADA trade some use NADA loan value and most use Blackbook (clean/avg book).

What is the difference you ask? NADA values are nothing more than a straight depreciation value. Blackbook is the composite avg that these cars are selling at auctions. Common sense says to use BB because who cares what depreciation says the price should be....thats like buying a house at the property appraiser price. It should be sold at MARKET price.

Heres an example for WS6's. My '99 with 86k on it BB's for 10k. So your '00 with a few less miles is being bought at auctions for about $12k give or take.

Why should any of you believe me? Well I am an automobile lender lol.

Clean car!!!!!! Remember you can always go down but not up. So I would offer the man something fair and you might get a clean, quick car.

exactly.

you're going by nada, which is not what people pay. i've sold several cars and have actually never gotten kbb private party. to really sell a car you need to price it somewhere between kbb private party and kbb trade in... this is assuming the car is basically stock and in good condition.

just trying to help you sell the car. i honestly would be very interested, as i'm in the market for a car just like this, but the price is too high to even start negotiating. you would probably think my offer was a lowball, when in fact it wouldn't be.
