Just a few more.....and Yes, the pinion seal has started to seep just like all GM rear drive vehicles even at 2980 miles! Although, it does not drip. However, you can see the housing is moist around the pinion.

Gorgeous car.

While you have it up in the air like that you should paint the rear end and any other areas where the suspension/drivetrain is starting to get surface rust. That way those parts don't clash with the rest of your pristine car.

I immediately painted all that on my '01 SS almost as soon as I got it home. Glad I did because it never got a chance for rust to start, even though rust on those areas is just cosmetic.

Default 2000 Camaro SS

TWS.... I would if I were to keep it. But selling it.... I know some of these original freaks would frown if I altered it. I have only owned it a short time. I am the 2nd owner. The surface rusting was there when I bought it. It does stand out like a sore thumb....It looks worse than it actually is in the pics.

BTW, are all of those your present cars? Awesome collection. My attraction to older GM muscle has led me here to the 4-sale forums. I have an older 66Nova SS I am building. Can't afford to do both. I purchased this car as a 'virgin' to mod the hell out of, being **** as I am I didn't want anything that somebody had already molested.

This car is sweet and I looked long and hard to find one this color, A4, and especially a hardtop. If it doesn't sell I will just forget about it and try again in the spring. It will eventually go.....

Nice rides!

Junk 302, if you don't mind me asking what did you end buying? and what did you pay? This site is loaded with cars but it seems nothing sells. And there are some decent deals.... I see all the same stuff here as I did just a month ago. I get much more interest in the local traders and at some other sites. I just sold my 1993 LT-1 off the street corner two weeks ago. Advertised it everywhere on the net and got nothing but kickers......

Wow, great price for an awsome car. Most cars with that low milage the owners try to sell them for 25k+.

Awsome deal.

I bought a 00 t/a , probably over paid for it too.. I wouldve rather paid 19k for yours than what I paid for mine... Too late now though.

Helicoil, Thanks! Yes, between my wife and I, we have the 5 Camaros pictured. I'm kinda a local curiosity on Austin F-body, kinda the resident collector/fanatic.
I know that the 4th gens are depreciating, and that classic muscle cars could appreciate, so I don't look at my insanity as an investment, just a lifestyle choice . I love a lot of classic muscle cars, but don't think I could go back. Technology is just so much better on the late-model cars.

Yeah, your car is very nice. I am partial to Hardtops in most cases too. Good luck selling and wish you even better success with the '66 Nova. Share some pictures up here when you are done.

Default 2000 Camaro SS 2980 miles!! MINT, No...REALLY MINT

Yeah, I suppose it would be gone if it were a black M6, but then you would just have another black M6 SS.

Anyone dare to be different......

I bought it for the color combination and the fact it had no T-tops and was an auto. I know not everybody has the same taste.
