Kermit the Geo Metro! - Silver spring/Baltimore MD Green, '94 (I think) 2-dr hatch. Has a set of 14" wheels that look like the older fox mustang 5-lug cobra wheels (CHROME!) ... lol. Tinted windows and a decent radio/cd player.
Complete and true meaning of a "BEATER"!
Insane little car ... lol, it's slow but FUN to drive and does great MPG. Car is going to be in my possesion next week and I'm gonna go through it and find out everything it needs before I sell. For now ... Belt squeel on cold startup and my buddy tells me it's hard to do the 3-2 downshift sometimes. Also, has a dent over the pass. side wheel well that's about a foot or two feet long from someone hitting it while parking or some other stupid accident. Other than that, car runs fine.
Asking $350 OBO (price lowered) ... go ahead and humor me. I can have more pics/details after this weekend. PM me pls.
EDIT/MORE INFO:
Car has 144K miles on it and runs very strong. Belts squeel when cold, easy fix. Needs a windshield, cracked. There's a slight problem in the manual tranny, it wont downshift from 3rd to 2nd most of the time, you have to shift to 1 and then go to 2 with the clutch down (syncros?).
Interior needs a good going over 'cos it's got a couple coffe stains and smells a bit damp 'cos it was parked for a long time. Driver's windor is off track and need help going up. Tan Dash is fading in some areas, doesn't look that good. Has a new 'DUAL' head unit that works good (possibly the only thing that looks good) but the trim around the radio/heater controls is missing

lol ... $800 it is then! I just want this thing gone soon. It's either that or I wouldn't be able to sell it 'cos I'll start some sort of project with it ... like a LS1 conversion! or even make it run one a hydrogen fuel cell.
EDIT: I'm just kidding above ... Price is still $500, I need this car gone!

my girlfriends little bro just got into a bind and needs a car BAD!!! he has 500 cash but he wants something somewhat reliable because he has a job to go to everyday. i know that a 500 doller car isnt always perfect but let me know as soon as you have more info, thanks.

Great deal for someone. I drive a 94' 60 miles round trip everyday. One of the best decisions I ever made. My truck gets about 13 and it averages 39 in mixed city/highway. Had to pay a good bit more than that for mine but paid for itself in gas savings with in 8 months of owning it. Got more room than you would think. I have hauled blocks, transmissions, exhaust systems and a set of 275-40-17's at one time or the other.

why is the camaro in the back ground half way into the ground in the first picture? or are my eyes playing tricks on me? Good luck on selling a good car! with gas prices right now they are gold!
