2001 White Trans-am 10sec Daily Driver
Alot of yall already know the car but for those who dont, its a 2001 TA white stock bottom end stock head car, car holds the cam only record and stock bottom end 6speed record. i put power steering, bran new a/c lines and compressor, factory 500watt monsoon with new memphis audio speakers, new lightweight carpet with no rear seat cutouts to have to look at.
Mods are as follows
Trex cam and supporting valvetrain
Spec 4 clutch (love it)
Mcleoud sfi belhousing
Mcleoud adjustable master
custom 3.5" aluminum DS, almost new
Moser 12bolt with New 4.56's, 33spline and a spool
BMR Suspension Such as:
The extreme drag bar (i have the stock front and rears to go with the car)
tubular lca's (have stock ones also)
adjustable torque arm (have stocker)
Tranny crossmember with TA relocation to crossmember
Boxed sfc's
tubular lower a-amrs
tubular k-memeber
adjusable phr
lca relocation brackets
qa1 springs and hal shocks(have all the stock stuff)
Strange race brakes (have stock ones on the front right now for alot of street use but i have the strange race ones ready to bolt on still on the spare spindles)
spal single 16" fan
under drive pulley
line lock
1 3/4 thunder race longtubes
borla stainless catback with bullet intermediate muffler in I pipe
mufflex y-pipe
ngk tr6 plugs
Taylor 10mm wires
FAST portmatched intake and TB
WS6 wheels with new tires
VFN pin on hood with zeus fasteners(have a brand new stock one also that can be put on if rathered)
i have a meziere race EWP that i took off the car that ill sell with it also
have a monster 4 gear shiftpoint programable tach
have a optima red top relocated to the trunk that is very new
has a electric fan override switch
battery cuttoff switch in the truck key hole spot
The car Hauls Azz bigtime, sounds awsome, i went on a 4hr trip on a tank of gas with city driving, rarley ever surges and it has very little drivability tuning done to it so that could go away completly im sure.
i drive the car 3 days a week since i have a work truck in need to drive alot of the time but i wouldn't hesitate to drive it every day again. car burns no oil at all even at the track which supprised me, alot of them do. always ran royal purple oils, bought car bone stock with 39000 on the clock, it has 46000 on the clock so its still in very good shape. id let it go for around $19,000, you cant build or touch a car with all this stuff for that kinda money and get it to run like this one does, im open for questions. time to get rid of it and build something different i guess, ive had the car almost 5 years
Heres some recent outside shots, the rear tires have been changed to match fronts
