yes the tranny still needs a rebuild...a full rebuild got quoted to me for $450 thats taking the tranny out, rebuilding it, and reinstalling it...

I don't believe he was calling you retarted there. . .he said that it is retarded cheap. . .which means really cheap. Oh, and that isn't $450 total cost of the rebuild. . .at the top of that page it says that is the Labor rate price list. So its $450 plus parts. The parts on a rebuild like that wouldn't be too bad though.


Anywho, still a good deal on the car. If my truck were sold I would be all over this. Best of luck on the sell. . .free bump for ya.

$450 is the total cost!!...i know the head mechanic there on a personnal basis and have talked about this quite a few times...if i just fixed what was wrong with the tranny, it would be cheaper than $450...
