1998 WS6 Trans Am For Sale *Modded*
Well, I decided to do it. Ive been saving for a Corvette and its time to get rid of my Trans Am.
Its a 98 Trans Am WS6, T-Top, Charcoal Leather, 73K Miles, never seen snow, only has seen rain 3 times in 4 years. I bought it when I was a senior in high school with 57K miles on it. Ive only put about 4K on it each summer.
I bought it with a flowmaster on it and it was lowered. Here is the current mod list:
Custom Cam designed by Ed Curtis at Flowtech
Fast 90MM intake and Black 90MM NW Throttle Body
Hand Ported LS6 heads with Manley Valves
Pacesetter Ceramic Coated Headers with ORY
SLP Loudmouth 2
Patriot Dual Gold Extreme Springs, titanium locks and retainers.
Yella Terra 1.7 Rocker Arms
Comp Cams Pushrods
Ram Powergrip Clutch (500hp, about 3K miles on it)
Ram Steel Billet Flywheel
Ram Adj. Master Cylinder
Ram Slave
Eibach Pro Kit (lowered 1 ")
TA Girdle and Stud kit
BMR Adj Panhard Rod (have LCA relocation brackets, just not installed)
NX Wet Kit, jetted for 100 shot
Full Throttle Speed timing tuner with built in window switch
SLP Oil Pump
SLP Underdrive Pulley
JP Double Roller Timing Chain
Black z06 rims from Tomzwheels ( new this summer) 17 x 9.5 front and 18 x 10.5 in rear.
New Rubber all the way around, only 1500 miles on them. BFG Drag Radials in rear.
The car has been treated good since I have owned it. Always washed and clean, stored in winters in heated garage. The past 2 years I have actually been nicer to it. Just drive it to work on the nice days and cruise to the beach on weekends. I have only gone through 2 and a half bottles on the car and only sprayed in on the street a handful of times. Car is very fast and has a ton of torque. Before the ls6 heads and 90/90 combo, the car went 12.1 @ 117 last summer with a 1.85 60ft. I think as it sits the car should do 11.9ish at about 119 on motor and a low 11 on the bottle. The only issue with the car is reverse is stubborn and pops out once in a while, I have learned to drive around it, but it is very annoying and my price reflects the fact that reverse may need to get fixed. The oil has been changed every 3K miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic 10-30
Asking $14,700 OBO
Here are a few older pics with chrome rims, ill post more tonight of how the car is now.
