Default 2000 WS6 with newer motor

I am really considering selling my TA, which is an actual WS6 car. The car is in really good shape, only one tiny smaller than a dime sized ding on the body. The front bumper has normal rock chips, but other than that she is in great shape. Int has the usuals wear on the driver seat, no tears or rips, and it has a crack in the passenger side door panel, that is it. The rear tires have over 80% tread and the front are probably 40 or so. The car needs some more tuning to run great, she just has a few idling problems right now, but other than that she runs strong. The car put down 395 rwhp and right around that with torque, (we couldn't get a good reading) there was one burnt wire that was resting on the header, but I changed them out to msd's and now they are no where near the primaries.

The car:
104,200 miles on body but only 60k on 6.0 motor
arp rod bolts
chromemoly pushrods
ported oil pump
241 heads
black msd sparkplug wires
plus all mods in sig...

I don't really know a good asking price, but I was thinking $12,800 Firm.

The reason I am thinking about getting rid of the car is because I want a new project. If you have a nice 3rd gen camaro or 2nd gen rx7 I might be interested in a partial trade

What was the A/F ratio during the pulls?

We didn't have the wide band hooked up to it for that run, but before I put on the intake and injectors it was right at 13. After the intake and injectors the car got some more tuning but nothing with the wideband. The plugs look good though, do not foul out and is not running lean. The plugs look just about right where they need to be.

Well after looking around and seeing what other people are letting their cars go at.. I thought I should make a more reasonable price. So I dropped the price to $13,500 and that is pretty firm

Wow with seeing how the cars are these days and the prices that they are selling for... I guess I should make mine a little more competitive. $12,800 Firm

No, I guess I really should have specified that when I said 6.0... The car now has a 6.0 out of a '04 truck. The motor had 60k miles on it when I got it and now has around 62k miles on it. The bottom end was check and the rest of the motor was checked out before install.
But the car runs strong and is in great shape.

I though a 6.0 was an LS2, especially with the LS style manifold?

They are, but the truck motors... both the 5.3 and 6.0 share the same heads and block except the ls1 is alm and the trucks are iron. Heads are alm on both and the internals are different, but since they use th same heads you can swap on a ls1/6 intake manifold on them. This is a tuck motor, but it has the f-body accessories as well because we swapped them over.
So do you have an interest in the car? Feel free to ask any other questions.

Yeah I am definitely interested in the car. So did u change out the internals in this new iron bottom end. If so, this motor could probably handle a pretty good amount of power (or spray) but I wonder at what expense to weight gain?

No the internals are factory, but the rod bolts were replaced so you don't have to worry about rod bolt failure. The 6.0 bottom ends, and all the of ls series motors are known for being very stout and able to handle good power. And the iron block only added at the most 90lbs. I want to say that the weight gained was about 80 but 90 at the most. I haven't had the car on the scales yet but when i got the car there was no spare or jack in the car so actual weight gained over stock should be 50lbs at the most.
I really wish I had the money to get the internals swapped out lol but you know how that is.

How bout that rear end, if I were to buy a car like this, its only a matter of time before I spray, turbo, or supercharge it. Is this a stock 10 bolt, or have you swapped up to the mighty 12 bolt?

Yes, it still has the stock rear end, I would be asking much more if it didn't lol. But these 10bolts are hit and miss. There are some people that can run 10's on them and some that don't last stock. I think the things with 10bolts and stick cars is don't launch them over 3krpm and they should be all right at the track. If you are more interested in cruising or the street scene then you don't really need to worry about the 10 bolt lol.

I see that you are interested in a Datsun Z car, I actually just met a guy here in Memphis who has a pretty nice gold colored 280Z for sale, I can call him for more info if you are interested. Where do you live at?
