98' White/White/White SS Convertible (Blown Engine)
For sale is a 1998 Camaro SS Convertible white with a white leather interior and a white convertible top. The car is supposed to have every single option except for the chrome ZR-1 wheels. The car has 6142 Original miles according to the odo and the title. The car also has a clean car fax that reports no accidents and a clean title that is in my name. The engine on the car is currently not running due to being run dry on oil because of a hole punctured in the oil pan. The interior on the car is in good condition and so is the convertible top but the body has its share of scratches. Most of the scratches are from sitting in the body shop and getting hit with things and can be buffed out but there are some deep ones that will need touch up paint.
E-Bay ADD - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=270207428354
THIS IS A REAL FULLY LOADED CAMARO SS CONVERTIBLE (I have documentation!)
Sold from Hamilton Chevrolet in Michigan
According to the guy at GM who I talked two
THIS IS THE FIRST WHITE LS1 SS CONVERTIBLE EVER BUILT
Also the car has original Tires that are date correct and an original air filter that is also date correct and the tires have 95% tread and air filter is really clean witch leads me to believe it really is a 6142 mile car although the body does not show it as some have brought up. (Body has scrapes from sitting and some rust forming on the bolts under the hood and on the rear end)
Now for the story behind the car-
I am the third owner of the car. The previous owner bought the car when he was 19 with 4,000 miles on the car back in 2000. He had the car for about one month and put the car into a ditch. Some how that ruptured the oil pan and when he had his friend come pull him out he did not notice that the car leaked out all the oil so he started it up and drove off. Not long after that the engine seized up. He filed an insurance claim because the front bumper also had damage (spider webbing in the paint), and the insurance company gave him $3000 to fix the car so he brought it to some body shop that claimed they could fix the car for cheap. Well the car sat at the body shop for 8 mouths and the owner figures out that the body shop has gone out of business and they did not complete the car. He tried to get the money back but fails, so he sued the body shop and still did not get any money because they went bankrupt. Well after the big court battle he finally got the car back and he said it was worse that when he sent it in because it was missing the SS spoiler and tail light and they replaced it with LT1 parts and stole other SS parts off the car. They also took all the front end panels off the car and bolted them back in a hurry with only a few of the bolts and left the rest in a pile in the trunk. Keep in mind this all went down about 8 year’s ago, He still owed payments on the car and was out the $3000 dollars from the insurance company to fix the car, so he just put it in his back yard and let it sit for 8 year’s until he finally paid it off. I then came along and offered to buy the car and he sold it to me because his business was facing hard times with Michigan being the way it is.
Other than what I listed as being missing the car is 100% complete and comes with everything other that what I list. The electrical in the car is all there and in working condition and the car has the blown engine, rear end and a transmission all in the car and will come with it.

By the looks of the car, it has more that 6000 miles also. And the hole in the oil pan looks intentional. It would have damaged the steering rack if it went off road. It's right above the power steering line yet it is not damaged. It sounds like someone did something shady to it!
But I'm sure you will get it sold.

greinder03, get lost! This is now confirmed real SS convertible and the potential odometer rollback has been corrected. The car has original tires with 95% tread and air filter that is like new witch is also date correct showing that this car probably is a real 6142 mile car. Any how It is not a perfect roller by any means but quit trying to make it into things it is not.

PHB is out of the car in the pic.
I'd sell with the hood and wheels, you can always get those they pop up constantly.
Interesting project in spite of the car being partially stripped and the mileage being questionable.

I wouldnt mind picking it up as a project if it was much cheaper. Too many missing parts and such to pay 5 grand for it. Especially if it has 7x,xxx miles on it. Something fishy is going on. Best of luck with the sale.
