Default 520 RWHP and a 10 Sec Corvette

This car has been my pride and joy for the last 3 yrs, it has come a long ways since i bought it from the previous owner (Blown ECS Z06 on Corvette Forum). So, here she is!

The boring stuff:
1998, Convertible, A4, Pewter/Black, all options minus HUD, Leather is in great shape and the paint in awesome! 55K miles on chassis(best way to put that)

The good stuff!
Engine Bay:
Heavily built 427 C5-R motor, makes 520rwhp and 494rwtq (thru a automatic too!!!) motor was JUST built by Doug Rippie Motorsports, prolly has about 4K miles on it tops. Kooks 1 7/8 headers, B&B route 66 mufflers, 3" QTP cutouts, no cats. FAST 90 with Nick Williams 90mm TB, engine oil cooler from Earls (need to install).

Tranny:
BRAND NEW (less 1000 miles) Level V 4L65E trans built by Chuck @ FLP
2800 Stall Vigilante torque converter

Differential:
harden output shafts, cryo treated, all the good stuff
3.73 gears Getrag diff.

Wheels & Tires:
CCW Street Classics (with center caps) 18x11 with 295/18 in front and 18x12 rear with 335/35/18 (front are good year eagle f1 and rear NEW michelins pilots)

Brakes:
Hawk HPS pads, Brembo slotted x-drilled rotors and stock stuff, SS lines

Suspension:
Hotchkis Sway bars with upgraded endlinks, QA1 HAL 12-way adjustable shocks

Safety:
6pt cage bolted in, simpson 5 pt harness for both seats

Appearance:
full carbon fiber engine bay covers and polished caps, SW C5-R headlights with HID, Front Aci chin spoiler, 9-piece lense black outs, lower rear fascia covered in black vinyl, full dash carbon fiber (raw material) kit.

Racing Results:
Made a TOTAL of 3 passes at the strip, all were 11.1x @ 128mph. this car has 10's written all over it! Was road coursed once, for about 50 miles at most.

The bad:
once on the dyno, was strapped down to hard, when hit the gas, the back end squated and hit the fender, result was spider web into paint. about 4" long. barely noticeable.
Front 2 tps are gone, need to replace them (discount tire lost them)
typical driver seat rockin (only on hard turns, like clovers, or on a track)

NOTHING is wrong with the engine or drivetrain!

Honestly, i used this car as a daily driver for the summer of 05 and 06, but then i decided not to put so many miles on the car. bought another one and now this baby only gets driven on weekends or occasionally to work once a week. its VERY realiable as a daily driver, drive it to the strip, run it hard, drive it home. i never once worried about getting stuck!

This was was worked on by either myself or DRM, so rest assured its quality workmanship! Doug himself built my motor!

Asking $42.5K, trades are open, but it must be a Vette, C5 or C6.

Thank you guys, any questions or concerns do let me know. Clear title, have it in my hand, ready to roll. Vin is available if you need, pm me please.

Actually, the bar goes to the right side in the footwell of the passenger foot. there is a loop there that it bolts to. otherwise, i normally leave it in the house. its take 2 min to remove/install the bar, quite simple. but yes, with it bolted in, passengers do have ONE HECK OF A TIME!!! my gf is small, so she fits "ok" in an awkward position...

Price drop!
