2000 Corvette Targa Top, 6 speed 57k miles Going to keep this short and sweet, basically I got this car from my cousin about 5 months ago. He was selling and I got it on a whim and it is something I could not afford. I have one too many cars right now and makes no sense for me to keep the vette. This is by far the best car that I have owned.
Any way the car is pretty loaded minus the Z51 Suspension
It has the following options:
Active Handling
Heads up display
Bose Stereo
Dual zone climate control
Targa top- the top is pretty new and has no scratches
Dual power Sport seats
Telescopic power steering wheel
Memory seat
The car is stock minus:
B&M Ripper shifter- the stock one is terrible i do have the stock one
C6 Z06 shocks- the car handles so much better now, no more floaty ride and sloppy handling
Tinted windows
Bonus:
I have a set of 4 chrome Wagon wheels that go along with the car, no tires just the rims and center caps. 2 17inch and 2 18inch one of the 18s is brand new in the wrapper.
Maintaince
newer battery
new remote entry fob
fresh royal purple trans fluid
fresh synthetic oil and GM filter
new NGK spark plugs
new oil pressure sender
new hydralic fluid for the clutch
The clutch is Stock and graps fine, does not slip etc... I know a guy who has 125k on the stock clutch. If you treat it right these clutches will last a long time.
issues
the front tires will need to be replaced
the vanity mirror on the sunvisor(s) is cracked, I never use it anyway
The car drives fine with no issues, good oil pressure, never over heats, does not leak or burn any fluids.
AC is cold
heat is hot
all lights, signals, windows, wipers, etc work fine
Car was detailed by Mike on this board just a few weeks ago and kept in garage since then.
I never raced it or beat on it, the previous owner were older guys who never took it to the track etc...
it was involved in a accident when I looked it up on carfax, however it was fixed at GM certified body shop. The car looks great and shows no evidence of any damage, I just want to be up front with anyone interested. It does qualify for the carfax buyback guarantee and the title is clean and clear no issues at all. I have the title on me so no need to worry about leins etc...
I'm looking to get $17,400 obo for it. It is a great car and hope it goes to a good home. Most guys with over 100k are asking 17-18k, that being said I think the price is fair. I have taken 3 trips to Michigan with it, without any issues what so ever and I was getting 28mpg with the ac blasting and crusing at 75mph. With the ac off and 70mph I was getting 31mpg. These car are awesome on the highway and you will get fuel economy of a 4 cylinder honda with the power of a V8. I would not hesitate to drive to California in this thing tomorrow.

if it wasa not for the accident there would be a check in the mail... I have to think about it. I have an opportunity to buy a black one with similar options/miles for less with no accidents right now. If that deal falls through, you may be hearing from me in the near future.

I'm Interested in the Car I don't live to far away (Park Ridge) and I would like to come see it tomorrow if at all possible I am actually leaving to go up to Michigan tonight to pick up a project car but I will be back early Saturday if you could give me a call so we can set up a time to look at the car if it is still available.
