Check out the sticky on "the real price to turbo". The turbocharger itself was $1500. But then, you have to add piping, flanges, wastegate, bov, injectors, fuel pump(s), tuning, BTM, intercooler... which leads to forged pistons, 4340 rods and crank... which leads to beefed up transmission, 9" rear, tires, etc...

Its not the sound that is stopping me, but I would want to at least get as much information as possible on the car before I actually take off of work and make the trip to come and see it in person....
