Sold Sold Sold
I'm looking to switch to boats, so my turbo Camaro is up for sale. Here are the spec's:
Chassis
1995 Z28, ~65,000 miles, always covered, black, t-tops, tan leather
roll bar (not cage) with pin-out door bars
5 point harness included, but swaps to stock belts with 2 bolts
All stock interior, gauges, accessories, cruise, a/c, etc...
KB DD sfc's
Tubular K-member
Tubular trailing links
Have a set of 17" ZR1 wheels and 15" ProStars
Long block
8.5/1, 388 cid, Eagle 4340 crank, Eagle 4340 rods (ARP2000 bolts), Ross pistons
AFR 210 Race Ready heads
Comp Pro Magnum 1.6/1.52 rockers
Comp 224/236-114 cam, .605/.593 lift
LT4 intake, runner roofs raised .1", bored to 58 mm
58 mm TB
Turbo setup
Single T76GTS, .96 turbo
Home-built piping using 1 3/4" primaries, 2.5" crossover, 3" log, 3" downpipe, and 3.5" exhaust using a Magnaflow muffler
Tial 40 mm wastegate
Tial BOV
Custom large Bell water/air intercooler, water tank in trunk
3" cold-side piping
Turbo and piping leave all stock accessories in their stock locations, even the cooling fans.
ECU and fueling
Stock ECU, running a 2 bar SD tune in Open loop
84 lb/hr injectors
Acceleronics impedence converter
Dual 255 lph pumps, one on a boost pressure switch
Alkycontrol dual nozzle Methanol setup, but it's tuned to run without it
Drivetrain
Precision 10.5" converter, stalls to about 4500 at full boost
TH350 with a billet sprag
Ford 9" rear with 3.00 gears and limited slip, Moser housing and axles
Performance
I only got one pass at the track before they kicked me out, which was a 9.92 at 146 mph, on a 1.7x 60'. The car ran 143 mph consistently before that. This was at 17 psi boost and full weight. The turbo is capable of around 22 psi, but it's not tuned to run there. It dyno'd 700 rwhp, which is low for the mph run due to the non-lockup auto.
Will consider trades for a ~25' speedboat, similar to a Baja.

Hey sweet ride, I have one just like it but mine is a 94 and its a 355 forged motor. I was wondering how you tuned yours and where you got the parts to tune it? Thanks!

It's a GM 2 bar MAP sensor. I use TunerCat to tune it. The impedence converter is from Acceleronics, and the injectors from Racetronix.

If you do something as unorthodox as running a 2 bar SD open-loop tune, plan on spending lots of time scanning and programming.

To check my price, I watched a couple of related ebay auctions and here's what I found:
1996 Z28. 49,000 miles. Black. 6 spd. T-tops. Mildly upgraded shortblock with ported stock heads. D1SC Procharger. Moser 12 bolt. 573 rwhp. Bidding went to $13,500, but not sold.
1995 Z28 convertable. 60,000 miles. White. TH400. All forged 383 with AFR heads. D1 Procharger with frontmount IC. Moser 12 bolt. 10.4 @ 130 mph. Bidding went to $12,500, but not sold.
Based on the maximum bids on these cars, I don't think I'm terribly out of line. Any offers will be considered.
