The time has come for me to sell my daily driver. This truck has absoloutely been the best vehicle I have ever owned as a daily driver. I have had no issues with it since I have owned it, which would be since August 2007. The reason for selling the truck is becuase my company is going to stop reimbursing their employees for driving their own vehicles, and put us into their company trucks in the coming months, and honestly I bought this truck mainly for work. I am in a sales position for my company and I visit my clients daily, which are spread out in a 100 mile radius throughout the metroplex. 90% of the miles on this truck are from highway driving.
The truck is the SLT Trim, which basically means fully loaded: Leather Seats, Seat Warmers, Power Everything, Electric Folding Mirrors, Bose Sound, 6 CD Changer, 6.6L V8 Duramax Diesel, 5 Speed Automatic Transmission w/ OD, Electronic 4 Wheel Drive, Independent Rear Seat Radio, Dual Zone Climate Control
I have also done a few modifications to the truck, and never spared any expense when doing so. I built this truck to be what I wanted in a truck, and at the same time have quality components that I knew wouldnt give me any issue, because I could not afford any down time with this vehicle. The mods are:
- Fabtech 6" Suspension Lift
- Fabtech Dual Front Shocks
- Fabtech Dual Steering Stabilizers
- Fabtech Traction Bars
- Running Boards
- Bushwhacker Fender Flares
- Eagle Alloy Wheels 16x10
- BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A 315/75/R16
- MBRP 4" Turbo-Back Exhaust
- Ipod Connectivity for Stock Radio
- Sprayed Bed Liner
Other than that the truck is stock. I have maintained the truck every 3,000 miles with oil and air filter changes. I've also recently had the transmission flushed and the rear axle lube replaced. I average about 19 mpg on the highway with this truck. I also have recently replace the tires. I went from the Nitto Mud Grappler to the BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A for one reason, NOISE!!! Those Nittos made the truck sound like a WWII airplane coming down the road. The tires have about 18,000 miles on them, and look like they could go about 30,000 more.
The interior of the truck looks nearly brand new. The seats show very little wear and the plastics in the truck still look brand new. The exterior has a few chips here and there but overall is still very nice. I would give the interior a 9/10 and the exterior 8.5/10.
There really arent alot of bad things to say about the truck. It's been a great vehicle and I have no complaints about it. And honestly, if my company were to continue their lease policy with us, I would not be selling it. In the pictures the Nitto tires are pictured but they have been replaced as stated above.
