2005 cbr 600rr
Year: 1950
Make: Hummer
Model: H1
Price: $2500
Mileage: 18000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): IN
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
The bad:
The lower side plastics are scuffed and I removed them. The bike was lowered and I raised it back up, however doing so the bike ended up falling over when I thought it was stable and it cracked the tail plastic. I now use a plate under the kick stand and it holds. You could lower it or keep it raised and get a new kick stand. The windscreen is cracked from the fall as well. It needs a new rear tire. After it fell the speedometer has been working on and off, dont know if something got disconnected? The F1 light came on but it rode fine, I turned it off and started it back up and it disappears. Comes on about every 20 minutes. No idea what it is, or if it just needs cleared. Other than that the bike rides fine and still hauls. It books over 4000 and I will take 2500. If you are handy it can be back in pristine condition for $500 or less

woah look out. It obviously been tuned or it would run like complete crap, i think thats a given. I just didnt feel the need to purchase a power commander, not like the buyer cant get one if they choose. Interesting you rag on my bike when you have one for sale.

When did I rag on your bike? Your claiming all these mods but have nothing to support them. You dont have a power commander therefor its not tuned on anything and its running the stop map which is not cool like I stated above.

PCM on a bike are not like the ones in LSx cars. bike computers can't learn and have a small window that they can adjust in. If you put a slip-on exhaust in and dont get a Power commander it WILL run lean. ONLY way to tune a 600RR is with a Power Commander (or equivalent). PCIII you can down load maps but the best is to have it Dyno tuned cause the downloaded maps are pretty genernic (usually only for exhaust and filter)

I bought it already modified, it has ran fine the 3000 miles ive had it. Its had all of its maintenance done by a local shop that can confirm the mods. They too believe they bike is great for what it is. As I previously stated in the first post that I dont really know much about bikes so it could have been dynoed/tuned which I was under the impression it had been since it runs so well. If not, worst cast scenario buyer can pick one up. Dont believe it come out and ride it yourself.
