1985 Monte Carlo-SS conversion I bought this car in august and planned to swap a LSx into but now have decided to go with something with less body work. Asking $800 will sell without trans for $650 316-644-7446 Aaron
1985 Monte Carlo LS
83-84 SS front clip, doors and trunklid/spoiler
All interior panels dyed black except seats and doors
Bench seats front and rear
Column shifter
Needs headliner and carpet to complete the interior.
comes with a rebuilt 2004r trans
Pontiac ralley wheels in 14"
Mr. Gasket Longtube headers and flowtech mufflers
Remanufactured power steering pump, used once
The good
The frame is solid, only surface rust but no rusted through parts, no rust holes, fenders and floor is solid. Interior is in fantastic shape with one single crack in the dash and hole in the rear seat bottom on driver side. Car has a clear kansas title
The bad
Needs a motor, passenger fended is dented in, passenger quarter needs work at the bottom and a turn signal, needs work around quarter windows as it was a half vinyl top car and it needs some paint. Interior needs to be put back together but its all there minus carpet/headliner liked stated above.
I feel its a solid car that needs some love and affection and with a little work can be a a very comfortable street car or a drag car.

Where exactly is the car located? Also, what motor(4.3???) is in the car currently and what is the condition of the tranny(stock or race build and miles)? Thanks!

Car is in Wichita KS, there is no motor in the car currently but it was a v8 car. Not sure the miles on the trans but it looks like it had been done right before i bought the car and was told it was a stock rebuild.

Current pics of interior and of the damage
If its warm enough tomorrow the rear panels, seatbelts, and rear seat will all be put back together.
