Default Darn SLP lid rubbing the hood. Any ideas?

The SLP lid is rubbing and looks like crap . Called SLP and all they said was to raise the hood stops and to me that would look tacky with the hood being higher than the bumper. Thinking about shaving down the top of the lid or maybe just going back to a stock lid or an open lid. Anything that doesn't rub. Anybody selling a stock lid??

you need to get the updated slp lid, the one without the seams on the backside, i got one in perfect shape still in the box for 50.

SLP prob does it on purpuse, then they can sell you an UltraZ hood to fit over it. lol

That hood does have a hell of a lot of clearance up front though. I put the WS6 raised lower airbox on mine with a direct flow lid, still plenty of room above it.

Try the SLP Blackwing lid. Seems to work better than the SLP Performance Parts lid.
