the evo driver didnt know how to launch the car and he missed 2nd.it would be a diffent race if he knew how to drive the car.the cobra missed 2nd also

ya i mentioned that earlier. Because even if the cobra had a sra swap with a good tire it still should have been beat out of the hole on the street. Maybe the cobra was tubbed and the street had vht, but i would venture to say it was just the evo driver.

I just seen this. If this guy is serious, he can come to one of our meets and i will let him choose what car he wants to run Nissan 240, s r t 4, jeep srt8, Chevy crew cab 2500, 07 vette, a few imports and many ls1's and cobras he can choose from. it has a boost controller, waste gate, g30, big intercooler, big injector, clutch, slicks, and a little n2o. i wouldn't call it fast but it runs good.

As for the guy in the evo. He needs a driver mod, and bad! AWD all you have to do is rev it to 6-8k rpms and Side-step! He lost for being an idiot. He should of yanked 1-3 cars right off the line. Its a fast evo but from a rolll im positive the Cobra would pull either way. If he had launched right it would have been a closer race.

thats a recipie to break **** or loose boost. theres a little more to launchinig awd turbo than that. i cant see the vid at work to see how bad it was but, if your gonna run you mouth with an evo and bet money you better have more than 450whp, bc people know they can be for real and your gonna get a race with another fast car, not a charity handout. there is a guy here in cincy with a busher built evo that did 9.91@144. on race gas, he was supposed to give me a pump gas race but never did.

very true, But thats the best way to get those things to launch, and hard! Either that or more HP and Slip the clutch just a little there for the whole ball of power does not ****-shock the drivetrain and break it!

I mean I raced a High boost evo from a dig and he jumped me 2-3 cars right off the line! We races from a roll and it was dead even! Even John Shepher in his 7 second DSM, I think rides the clutch out of the Hole, even though its seems like its not really foot operated, seems like he has it on a Lever.

I am still down to take his money. I talked to a few guys and we will even make a trip to his area. I posted my number before hit me up and let me know when he wants to do this. we can go almost any night of the week.

Well he got a 2nd chance at the cobra 3 nights ago..and lost again..both cars made flawless pass..that's 1000 we got from the evo in 2 weeks..those guys are cool peoples though
