Default Yet another exhaust shop thread..

I'm looking for a shop to do me some under-axle TD's, around san deigo area but I will drive a little bit. I had some done last year, but I had to work so my roommate took the car for me and we can't remember where the place was or the name of it. Anyone has recommendations? Please don't say CMS, they only do over-axle and I don't freaking want over axle. Thanks.

I need taste? I specifically asked for recommendations besides CMS. I KNOW they do great work, I'm not saying anything bad about them. I just do not want an over axle setup, which is all they will do. I know, because I contacted them already about it. Go troll somewhere else.

I can probably google the number, I'll try giving them a call tomorrow. Trying to get some price ideas right now, I paid $250 for my last one and I provided mufflers and h pipe.

LMAO at those bold letters....But the reason CMS won't do that is because it looks like ****, and they don't put their name on ****.

But in all seriousness, why don't you spend a little extra and do it right. I had CMS fab me up a dual 3 inch to a single 4 inch over the axle and it sounds sick. Good luck with your choice but I guarantee that you will re fab it again in the future.

No, I won't. I loved my under-axle TD's to death. I had to cut them off the car when I pulled the motor because they were welded to the headers (leaks) and then I had nowhere to put it so I had to throw them out. Looks is not as important to me right now, but I understand your comment. The bolds were for someone who decided to ignore what I wrote when it was in normal letters.

Also, anyone know if summit will still ship stuff to CA? It says on the website in big red letters

Some parts are not legal for sale or use in California on any pollution controlled motor vehicles. You can review your parts list below or click 'Continue Checkout' below to continue.
But will they still ship it?

Laugh all you want man, if thats your taste. I know it doesn't look as good, but it sounds exactly that same and thats what I care about. When I had the under-axle on the black car people asked about it all the time, everyone loved it. Now that we all know how you feel about it, please leave my thread alone unless you have something constructive to add.

I paid about 300 for my td under the axle and it looks and sounds great. I'll look for the business card of the shop that did it for me and let you know. I also took all my parts and they made everything work. They're located in riverside.

I think the shop that did my other one was in riverside, might be the same place. Let me know what the name of it is if you still have it. Actually I might have even PM'ed you after you got yours done. Did you post a thread in here about it? Probably like a year ago?
