Angry Im getting Laid off this Friday... Im #ucked!!! Any openings in So Cal?

I was informed this morning that both myself and my girlfriend of 2 years are both being layed off from the hospital that we have worked at for the last two years. This sucks and I was totally unprepared for this to hit us.

Were both hardworking honest people and looking for part time or full time jobs just about any days of the week.

We both have resumes and are current college students at Long Beach City College. We are willing to work our school schedule around any work schedule available.

If anyone is aware of any openings for just about any type job/career available please PM me or email me at james562@sbcglobal.net.

I'll have a resume available on request in the next few days.

My previous job envolved repairing various machines, stocking invintory, customer service, working the cash register, and signing members up for various services.

Thanks Everybody!

i've noticed most craigslist employeers tend to want to underpay the ppl they are willing to hire from there. I guess it all depends how much of a bind you are in taking a job. Good Luck

James, what Hospital did you work at and what was your position? The reason I ask is because I do work for a lot for the hospital around here and I can ask around.

We were both Pharmacy Assistants. Basicly we would package 55,000-60,000 perscriptions a day in a giant warehouse setting complete with a staff of 120 pharmacists, technicians and assistants...

My previous job I signed people up for membership and did personal training at the YMCA. My job prior to that was repairing pool and spa equipment for a buddy from church.

Ive been applying as a bank teller, a box factory worker my uncle has worked for 22 years, and a couple city works/maintenance waiting lists for various surrounding cities.

What sucks the most is that the jobs are scarce and hard to find a quality job that pays more than $11 an hour.

Anyone here work for Tmobile or Verizion? They offer 11-12.50 an hour as a sales associate and have plenty of positions available but I fear that if your not pushing enough cell phones they'd can my ***?
