It would be hilarious if someone who didnt know what they were doing welded that just like that and warped the tubes, then trying to drive with a V shaped diff.

Ive heard the only issue with this idea is that when the welds cool they may move the axle tubes ever so slightly out of alligment and may end up slightly crooked.
