how much would we lose? i dont know but just California spends over 10 BILLION on illegal immigrants every year so i have a hard time believing we would lose more money then what we spend on them every year.

I thought Illegal = illegals.How come its always because I'm Mexican.There are a lot of Latino illegals in the US from Guatemala, El Salvador,Belize,Ecuador and that's just friends that i have.They don't get all huffy puffy when the word illegal comes up.There are illegals from all over the world but the only ones that come out on anti illegal rally are Mexicans what are all the other illegal doing that they cant come and participate. Hahaha this thread is funny. I am of mixed decent but "LOOK" full mexican. My family has been here in the U.S. for 6 generations and i get **** from most 1st and 2nd generation mexican-americans when the subject comes up, my GF included as she is 2nd generation.

I find it funny because mexicans are the generally accepted scapegoat for the whole illegal immigration argument, although a large majority of people crossing the border are not mexican but in fact a make up of many different people from all the countries below mexico and some even further. Let's also not forget all the Asian/European immigrants who are here illegally. My only argument is with the lazy ones and the criminals, get a ******* job and contribute if you are going to come here. Also Don't give me **** for not knowing spanish, being a disgrace to mexicans, etc. I am Irish/Mayan Indian/Mexican and have family roots dating back to when Cali was not even part of the U.S!!! Call me a coconut, pocho, w/e you like, fact is I have always had a job and paid/worked my way through life and don't like people coming to my country (running away from their own) complaining about it every step and EXPECTING a handout.

There is a overflow of ignorance on both sides of the argument, this is true, but we are in America not China. We are made of a collection of races/cultures from ALL parts of the globe. That is what makes our country so great, we have the ability to pool skills, talents and ideas from many different sources.


I'm sick of being stuck in the middle feeling like a outcast from both sides, only to be drafted by both sides when they feel my (parts) of my argument suit their cause. Truth is I am not part of either group, nor do I ever want to be. Yay me, im gonna start a new race of MUTTS and we are going to over take both groups and rule the ENTIRE continent.

Irish/Mayan/Mexican did you miss that part? Mayan indians come from central/southern mexico/Belize and Mexican comes from well.... Mexico I know i took me years to figure out myself, I listed them in no specific order before sorry for the confusion. But my early mexican roots are from here in cali before it was Cali when it was still part of mexico, Like 160+yrs ago.

I say the government needs to step up and do whats right for the people, and for the record my GF is Mexican, my ex wife is Guatemalan, both my boys are latinos. Also just so you know my ex wifes mother had to wait for 6 years in line to get here LEGALLY, filling out all the paperwork getting Visa's and work permits. But all the time it probably would have been easier for her to just pay someone to smuggler her family into the country illegally. What sucks is it makes it harder for people to come here legally when you have a ton of hate in this country for illegals. On top of that it sucks to sit in a long line while you watch people just break laws and "CUT IN FRONT". Sorry but I have no pity for people who break the rules and laws. If they are willing to break laws to get here, then they are willing to break laws while they are here right? Model citizens and role models.

you are being no better then some of the protesters by saying people who protest are racist, because some of them said racist things when they were provoked by the camera man.
