What i want-Nice size cam/big cam that puts out alot of power and wont be so stressful on the engine.in other words a safe big cam.I want a cam ONLY car so I plan on running stock heads(dont have the funds for heads right now) Maybe nitrous later down the road.
here's what I'am looking at

1.Ms3 cam

POLUTR Tick Performance Polluter Cam (24x/24x (.61x"/.61x") 112LSA)
http://www.cincyperformancestore.com...polutrcam.html

4.thunder racing Raptor cam
Raptor cam- 236/242 - .615/.615 - 111 lsa
works good w/ nitrous
http://thunderracing.com/catalog/?ac...&vid=3&pcid=51

5.T rex cam
T-ReX v.2 - 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa

if you want a huge cam take a look at the vindicator cam also. I would rule out the ms4 since you will have to flycut your pistons to run that on stock heads. I dont know about the others but keep looking around.

Remember with cams that big a mis-shift might result in needing a new engine.

I say get the vindicator on 112 this guy did and put down awesome numbers for having a ls6 intake and a flowmaster muffler.

I wouldn't get any of those. Get a custom ground cam from a guy that knows what he is doing.

Luis all those cams you listed are friggin huge and I doubt very much you will like them... just watch out, because big *** cams don't necessarily mean it'll yield the most power. And even if it gives you great peak numbers, you'll want to stretch it across a wide range on your power band... not just one little spike at 7000 rpm...

The vindicator as mentioned above seems like a nice cam... still a little big for my taste. The VRX5 is also one you might wanna look into. I'm sure Ryne could probably spec you out a pretty good one as well...

3 words... DUAL valve springs

why such a big cam??? is this a drag only car?? i mean what is your reasoning? is it the sound you want? i mean i can spec you 228-232 on 110+2 and it will kick the crap out of all those cam listed in a street light to street light race in a cam-only application and sound mean at idle while doing it, you really need to think about this, for diving for this biggest cam you see imo..

I think your #'s are really HIGH for your mods. You should get dynoed somewhere else to see if you put around that same power (All dynos will vary). I think those are the highest #'s I've seen with those mods. About the cam... Big doesn't always mean better!

From the list I say MS3 cam, but I would listen to Ryne, bigger is not always better. Mid range cams are a hell of a lot more fun to drive anways.

I agree..if those numbers were accurate it would be like him having an ls6. They are a bit too high i think.

+1 for a custom more well rounded cam.

I'd look into the 228R cam if I were you. I've installed that cam into several cars and the owners have been very satisfied.

Could you give us some more info on your future plans??? I mean if you're going to do heads later when the money is there, I'd get something smaller. I'd only get a big cam if I was going to purchase a FAST intake but I don't think you want to get rid of that pretty ls6 intake you have custom painted so go with something smaller bro. Maybe one of TSP's torquer cams or the 233/239???
