Spent many hours at them when I was younger. Safety reg's are gonna be way higher now. I would have to imagine just about everything would get checked now.

You're in CA? Why would you take an AK? I thought they were illegal in CA.

Sorry off topic, but taking an illegal firearm to a gun range is asking for trouble.

You got a FAL? Nice! Ive always wanted one, ive been a fan of .308s. I go to LAX shooting range a few times a month with my pistols and once in a while ill go to angeles for the rifles... but a nice empty spot in the desert is much for fun

an AK47 is perfectly legal in california believe it or not it does have to meet some requirements but its legal. and nothing is checked well depends where u go some ranges check for steel core ammo and some dont thats about it. some ranges let u rapid fire weapons and dont say nothing if ur not firing like a douche.

yup, AK47s are perfectly legal as long as you don't have a full auto on them.

you cant have detachable magazines anymore, you have to have a fixed one and use a magazine to reload from the top if i remember correctly.

opposite direction of most of you guys, but my roommate and i go shooting up in beaumont, not a range so you can shoot whatever. last time we went with his sks, and ar15, i only have a glock 23 but spent most of my time shooting the sks

you should have done the group buy with me and a couple other guys, one of my friends got the saiga 12 and that thing really rocks, with the 19" barral it really was not bad at all shooting the clays from a distance. im doing the full wood and pistol grip conversion to mine and threading the barral

Wow, guess it's true, learn something new every day.

Still don't see a point though, 1 shot 1 kill.
