Not to be a dick, but lesson learned here:
Know the measurement you need for a part like that, don't assume the seller knows what he is doing even if it came off his own personal car with similar set-up. With a measurement, there is a definite point of argument to get your money back, or to verify it before handing over $$ in the first place.
Sorry that happened to you man. Can't you have it shortened a tad to meet your needs? At least its not too short, then you'd be fucked.

Yeah I got your message but it was kinda late when I read it. I'd rather sell the one I have first or see if I can trade it for one I need before I commit to buying another.
I'm in Rancho Cucamonga near Pomona/Ontario. I know the you break it you buy it rule so.....
I probably won't be able to race Sunday but hopefully I can get things figured out and try to buy a ticket at the door to race Monday. Hopefully I don't grenade the ford 9" if I do race.
