Has anyone in the Phoenix area done this? I'm looking for an extra set of hands to help out. I do have access to a lift so it should be a little easier.. Let me know. Thanks!

It seemed like a pretty straight forward deal. My guy was doing the clutch and gave me the hose to drill out while he was busy.
Crack open the bleed screw, it makes getting the fittings apart easier.

I say don't waste your time, unless you're completely stock, you won't see any difference.
Save up some cash and get the Master from Tick Performance. You'll avoid having to remove the same thing twice.

My car is mostly stock.. just an intake exhaust and tune. The drill mod has to make a difference.

I've done this on several cars. A few of them had sticky pedal problems. One car it cleared up the sticking pedal 100%, another car it improved the pedal, but didn't completely solve the problem. The drill mod is an easy thing to do and I would do that first (along with bleeding the clutch properly) if someone is experiencing any sticky pedal symptoms or high rpm shifting problems. Then after that I would replace the master, then the slave.
Some set ups will greatly benefit from a Tick adjustable master cylinder. I've installed a few of those, one on my buddies car with a LS7 clutch kit, it's a nice peice. My car has a Textralia clutch and new GM hydraulics. I have no clutch disengagement issues and no shifting issues even up to 6800 rpm.

That was just my opinion, pulling the master is not the easiest of things if you ask me. The drill mod may work on some, but does nothing on most when you're attempting to complete a 1/4 mile pass.
His car is mostly stock, so he should see a slight difference......at least until he starts modding.
