I'm going for sure. I'm surprised they still have tickets.

I remember reading something online stating that they approached Jay Leno about being a part of an American version of Top Gear but he turned them down. He also stated something along the lines of the original show was great and it would be hard to duplicate. I agree.

^ definitely agree with you on that but they do try their best to duplicate the bond that the trio have in the UK version of TopGear. You can also tell that Clarkson and the gang help out in a lot in TopGear Australia but not sure if they will for TopGear USA.

All I'm hoping is that I finally get to see a TopGear USA episode. I wonder if anyone is going to pick a LS1 on one of those budget car challenges.

Same here. I hope Paul Tracy is the Stig so he can stick it to Tanner Foust like on Battle of the supercars. Lol.

I was in the studio audience for the ill-fated pilot of TGUSA the last time around... I hope this one actually sticks.

Oh, and 10/16 at 1pm! W00t!

I was there for the filming at 1300 today...we stood outside for 2 hours before they told us that they are behind schedule due to the heavy rain this morning. They told us that we will be there until at least 2000 tonight, and you can not leave until all filming was completed. I didn't expect this long of a day, and needed to be to work by 1800 so I had to leave.

They did tell us that they gave a car away to one of the studiio audiance during the morning filming. I also heard that they had guest stars like Kid Rock, and Buzz Aldrean last week during filming.

So the guys who went ... how was it???

I was there last night from 1pm to 7pm...on my feet the whole time. The show itself will be ok but not great. They seem to be copying some of the stuff the british show does which will set them up for comparisons, and they will come short. Still they had had some cool pre-filmed stuff that looks good but I guess you'll have to wait for everything to be edited and put together to judge the show. As for being there in the audience, I'll never do it again, at least not for free. 6 hours standing with no water or snacks available. I asked for water, since all the production people had some, they said they'd bring me some and then the girl disappeared for the rest of the taping. I just wanted to get the hell out of there towards the end. Michelle rodriguez was the guest but she dont look that great in person and she is pretty small. Anyway, it was ok to go once for the experience but I learned my lesson. The show should be decent but unless it develops its own identity it might suffer in ratings. I guess we gotta wait till it airs to see.

P.S. Go if you aint working or if you get paid days off. DONT WASTE A NON-PAID DAY OFF. Trust me.

Not only am I royally jaded, I hate Tanner Foust with a passion. I hope it does well though. Well enough that they ditch Tanner Foust and get someone else.

I wish I knew you were there...what number were you? I was #68, and there was a guy with a silver Vette who said he was a LS1Tech moderator in the past in front of me. It was cool to talk LS1 for the hour we were outside.

I didnt even know we got numbers but I think I was over 200. A lot of people left when they said to expect to be there till 6-7pm. I just got in line and went through security and almost right into the set. I sat down for like 30sec before they told us to go inside. I saw a silver C6Z06 and a silver C5. Unfortunately I think the crowd was like 90% import and tuner guys and/or knew nothing about cars.

Quit your bitching! I was there at 8 and stood in the pouring rain for 2 hours. Then stood another 4 hours. It was a good show though and I think Adam is funny. They gave away a primered black ls400 in trade for the guys members only jacket!!
