so i have the motive 373 gears part # G875373 that im trying to instal into a ls1 342 rear end. im trying to find the instal kit for it.

will this kit work? when i click application summit says its only for 1980-1996, but this seems to be the same kit Texas speed sells under the 98-02 f body section.. any help on which kit to buy?

What you need to look for is an install kit for a 7 1/2 GM rear, the summit one sounds wrong. If you want I can get you the master install kit with timken bearings, we can meet up since you're close by.. let me know.

yea the summit one does seem wrong.. i hate dealing with summit.. they are using the same product number as tsp but a totally diff product description. lmk the price and how soon you get it... (you say just a gm 7.5inch, but arent there diff gm 7.5 i.e for trucks, old *** cars, ls1 camaros? or do they all use the same instal kit?)
