I'll accept beer payment!

I have a good Jack so hopefully I can get high enough, or I hope I can do it at work with the lift.

If your headers came with gaskets, throw them in the trash if they're not the GM MLS ones.. they're guaranteed to leak. If the spot welds on the stock MLS gaskets are not broken, they will work fine. I like to pull the spark plugs out of the heads, so you don't break them off. You'll need the car at least 2' off the ground.. Spray some skunk **** on the old 02 sensor threads, and all of the manifold bolts several hours before you begin.. they're always a bitch. If you're putting some serious muscle into them and they won't come out, heat them for 60 seconds (the bung) with a propane torch and they'll come out easy. Use anti-seize when you install the 02's back into your headers (on the male threads only, copper or nickel work well, do NOT get it on the sensor itself or put any into the bung where it could get on it), and make sure the 02 wires are tied back away from the headers when you're done. Get the headers and engine up to operating temperature once, let it cool, and re-torque the bolts (or studs) so you dont have leaks later..

that's all that I can think of....

I think the only problem I had was installing the Motor Mounts and Spark Plugs, Mounts wouldn't align with the holes to get the screws back in and some of the Spark plugs broke because I decided to go the technical way and torque them.

I'd be down to lend a hand depending on when your planning on doing it.

Can I just say how much fun my SLP's were to put in! ... I learned with the hardest kind. SLPs. I learned every way NOT to put them in! Hahaha!

But I remember removing the manifolds. I wasn't gentle! 10-20 minutes. Definatly take the plugs out! ... I broke all but one on the passenger side because like an idiot, I thought I could "ease" the headers past them. Uuummm, That didn't work!

Did you manage to get the car high enough? Its kind of a pain to do with floor jacks. I've done it but it wasn't pretty.
