yea and they wouldn't have shot and killed him, they would have captured him. Also do you think they would have made it that easy, these people are insane. He would be walking around with a bomb strapped to him so if he was taken out he was going to take everyone else out with him.

 

I did hear this from our news networks last night so take that in to account of how accurate it is but they were stating that capturing was not the goal and that the execution of Osama was. I believe it. Its a lot easier to kill than it is to capture.

But really, what would the benefits of capturing him be? All it would do is create a whole lot of unwanted international politics of how international law was violated. If you kill him, its over with and everyone's happy.

This is exactly how I feel! I don't know about you guys, but even though I wasn't directly affected by 9/11 (and by that I mean I didn't personally know anyone who was murdered), this is very emotional news for me. I feel so empathetic and heartbroken for the famalies and friends who tragically lost so many people that they loved-children growing up without mother or fathers, mothers and fathers who will never again embrace their child...I know the war on terror is not over, but I feel so much hope and closure on the death of bin Laden. And how FREAKING AWESOME is it that it was our own soldiers that killed him: face to face, man to man! Not by a drone, not by alliances, but by a US Special Operations unit!!!

 

i am more afraid of retaliation attacks now, so in the end was it worth it if they strike again? He was one man in a army of extremist. If he is dead great, but we have to be extra careful from now on.
