Default My dyno numbers :(

On base we had a free dyno day/car show so I took my car to get dynoed , and it only put 292 rwhp, and 323 trq . Now the dyno guy was say it's been reading really low. He said add about 40 hp to it and it should be that:/ what u guys think? Their is a ton of new m3s here and they where reading 320s rwhp, GT mustangs 02,03,01 model was like 230rwhp, 2011 gt500 stock, 430 rwhp, so idk my mods are LTs, ORY, GMMG, exhaust, lid,k/n filter,3:73 gears, tune, free mods.

That's really low so i would say his dyno is off. You said you're tuned, so what did it put down when you got tuned?

I wouldnt say 350rwhp with his mods. Not even if it was a 6 speed, and especially not an auto. But I also agree that 292rwhp is low. You should be around the 330whp area.

Yeah alot of guys where pissed! A ton of BMW ,s and a couple of srt4 s, a couple of c5 vettes , and a couple of gt500 s . There was a guy there who had a gt500 with a k/b s/c and only ran a 620, he sayed last yr he ran a 730rwhp . And my tune is mail order for now, from frost. Yeah I was expecting atleast 320. I was laughing at the 01,02,03 mustang GTs they were ranging from 210-230 rwhp. They looked pissed . I was the only F-body there I think... Ha ha ...

If the guy straight up told you "add 40HP" then he knows his dyno is off. Don't sweat it. Are you automatic or manual?

Don't worry too much about it. Low numbers on a dyno can be caused by many things, Correction factors, smoothing, brand of dyno, etc.

If you read into dyno numbers too much, you will end up pulling your hair out!

its just a number i wouldn't be worried about it, its clearly off as long as your car is running right no need to be worried.

I put down 349/365 with lt headers, k&n fipk, p/p tb, TDs, and tuned (m6). So as long as your car doesn't run like dog ****, I'm positive you're making more than 292

i made 330rwhp with bolt ons, headers and exhaust etc.... through a six speed and 9in rearend, but i also ran 12.0s at Bakersfield with bad da and shitty slicks, im sure with good slicks and a few more runs (only got two that night) i would have got high 11s
just some proof that dyno # dont mean squat
