Famoso Private Track Event Oct. 29th 2011!!!! I got the Famoso dragstrip this fall so we can have another private track day just like we had before. So yes people WE WILL be having a Famoso track day this year!!!

Saturday October 29th 2011
from 8am-5pm
$108 to race all day and I truly mean all day.
$10 for Spectators
DJ in the pits
BBQ
Alcohol (for non-drivers)
Racing spots WILL NOT be reserved until fee is paid.
Refer to the flyer for more info.
I will be accepting Race fees either through Paypal or if you wish, in person at the CaliGeneralz monthly meet.
send fees along with full name, make and model of vehicle and solid contact information like phone number and/or email address.

MAKE SURE fee is sent via PERSONAL TRANSFER to avoid additional fees
I will be updating this thread as other details arise. Sponsors and Shops feel free to PM for sponsorship details for raffle.

I have also attached the 2011 NHRA rule book for all your safety and requirement questions. Everyone must obey these rules to be able to run. No refunds will be given for failure to abide by these rules. So read up guys!!!

Jim at CalSpeed & Performance will donate a full chassis dyno tune for LS based vehicles (non transferable)

It'd be awesome if you could put a spin on it to support more race tracks in SoCal to prevent street racing. You could probably get a lot more publicity that way. Also, http://jack.radio.com/category/jack-tivities/

you got a good point zex, we are working on a few options also.
this was the last time we had this event, but im having trouble finding the majority of pics there were. but all in all damn good times at the SoCals fastest 1/4 that we still have. plus the u cant beat the cooler weather that time of year

a little over 100 slots, so we can have people run all day long and not wait all day for around 2-3 passes.
plus i have gotten questions from people asking if we are gonna be selling race slots at the gate.
RACING SLOTS MUST BE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE, no racing passes will be sold at the track. people must pre-register.
I also cannot save anyone a spot untill the fee is paid, so register now guys

not sure but i've heard it ranges and can be around -200 that time of year.

Famoso - 635ft above sea level
Fontana - 1122ft above sea level
and add to that the weather will be around 60-65 degress with hardcore prep, well u just do the math and that will tell u why everyone loves Bakersfield's Famoso so much.
