Irwindale I'm going to irwindale this Thursday. Anyone else going? Would like to see some fast ls1's to play with or any muscle cars for that matter. I've posted this same tread in dodge forums and Camaro5 forums and have not got a single bite. Is it not cool to drag race anymore? Hopefully the ls1 family is still into it.

I just need to install my new 4l80e transmission with 4000 RPM Stall Converter.
Its been very hot at irwindale. I took my son to the LSX Shootout at irwindale a few weeks ago & we had a total blast. We saw a new CTSV Cadillac out there that flat out hauled Azz...
We also saw a few Turbo LS1 Cars that ran a 6 sec. 1/8 mile in the miserable heat.

I heard about LSX shoot out after it was over, lol. I have seen a CTS V out there too. It was very quick and beautiful.
Let me know when your car is done and we could have some fun at the strip
