Default Looks like she's leaving...

Well... Got a deposit on the ole battleaxe. It's starting to sink in

The new pending owner should pick her up around X-mas.

Oh well, I'll get another one years down the road when I'm old, gray, and retired when I can afford it

I think you are going to feel this one for a long time, that is one beautiful TA you have there. Pretty obvious a lot of yourself has gone into that build.

Thanks man... yea, I'm sure I'll miss the hell out of her. But on the other hand, I'm at a point in my life where I need something practical, dependable, and has a warranty. And since I don't have deep pockets, I can't have both LOL.

She's been mine for a little over 10 years. Time to pass the torch. I think she's getting a good owner. He's military, got hurt over in Afghanistan, and is getting released this month. He's plum crazy about the car and sounds like a really good guy. His wife is supporting him in the purchase too so that is always a good thing.

Just hoping it doesn't get wrapped around a tree or put into a ditch. I'd like to see it still around in the future. Maybe even get some badass times at the track since I never got to take it there. I'd love to know what she'd run...

Well congrats on finding a buyer! I would like to know what she would run too! What was the compression ration of your LQ4?

I know how you feel. I bought mine new in 1999 and lthe "MOD" process began
I sold it to my son Dustin in 2005 and he had it for 2 years and then was going to sell it to a guy at JBA who was going to gut it and turn it into a Race car.

After all the work and good times in it, I couldn't have that so I bought it back and I'am now at peace to have her back.

Since 1999 and now there has been alot of changes in our car fever

Damn. I can't believe it never sold before, I feel like you've been trying to sell it for years, then we lost touch because of the whole SCM thing. Sad to see it go, I loved that thing, it looked amazing.

You're going to miss it!

I was regretting it yesterday... Took it to my works annual holiday party yesterday and everywhere I went I had people making comments about how good it sounds, and "your getting rid of it?!!!", and wanting me to do burnouts and **** in it

Which I didn't btw... don't want to chance ******* her up before I sell it lol

Yea me too... had it for 10 years, and it's been a part of me. Like so many of us here. But, I'm trying not to think about it too much. Just hoping down the line I'll be able to afford something nice in the future and start all over again...

I hear ya, I may have to sell mine soon here... my job just let me go yesterday and I would rather keep my house. That is the curse you sell one then start all over with another.

That sucks to hear man. I had to sell all the toys that were still worth something. I hope you find something ASAP. Because its a fucked up feeling.

And Wes it sucks to see her go. But I'm sure something better awaits later.

Glad you finally got it sold. I've been looking at this car for almost a year on craigslist, sadly my funds would not allow me to buy it

Yeah I think mine is worth a bit more now too now that it is a T56 car. I just have to finish up some wiring, well rather solder some wiring.
