ok, started taking parts of my car tonight. Got the hood, plastic cowl cover at bottom of window, exhaust pipes, headers, and intake manifold off and the oil drained. Having the hood and that dam cowl piece off makes **** sooo much easier.

would anyone mind telling me how to get the knock sensors dis-connected from the wire harness. I want to get the valley cover off and peak inside. Going to get me a gear puller and fuel line tool so I can get the dam UD pulley off.

Got the passenger head off the engine. What the hell does it mean when the valves and the tops off the pistons are orange? I've noticed my plugs orange tipped before but that was after doing the seam foam thing. I noticed now that my plugs had the orange tint and so do the valves and piston tops. I took some pictures and will try and upload a couple. Also the edges of the valves are dicolored, oil maybe. I'm thinking the valve seals were leaking.

if the valve seals are leaking it will almost always leave oil on the stem.

Same orange as dexcool. If you look at the water jackets around the pistons they are the same color.
I would guess-and I mean GUESS...
Seafoam or your racegas or a blown headgasket. If it was the headgasket though I think you would have known it when your pistons tried to compress water-BOOM.
It will be interesting to see what the other side looks like.

Did you leak it down before you tore into it? It looks hurt and it appears more like rust than the orange you'd see from octane booster brotha, what is you plan for this mill?
