Default LS1 Mechanic Shops in Colorado

Does anyone know of a good mechanic shop for LS1's. I need a lot of work done and I don't want to take my car to a shitty mechanic.
Thanks.

their cylinder heads sound promising. do you have or know anyone with experience with their heads?

I stopped by today and talked to Peter. Looks like a great place and the prospects sound promising. I'm considering their stage 3 LS1 heads along with a cam, and of course a dyno tune when all is said and done.

What kind of times/power numbers are you running right now at this elevation? I noticed our WRX got pretty sluggish (even more so) when we got here from Texas.

My best time @ Bandimere (5800 ft), dead stock was 14.65 @ 98, with just the Volant CAI and loudmouth is 14.32 @101. I haven't run the car with the rest of my bolt-on's you see in my sig, but I'm hoping to drop 3 tenths. I don't know about HP #'s, I guess I'll find out at DRE.

how are you guys running against stock EVOs and STIs? I would think it's pretty even, or does the forced induction keep them an inch ahead?

Most of the STI's I've paid attention to are running mid 14's-15's.

Couple STi's have made it to mid 13's stock here. Seen it myself. The owner at the time also had a WS.6, so I knew him, and knew it was stock. 13.6 at 96 or so. Damn that AWD.

From a roll, we can get them, from a dig.....not so good.

DRE is in Broomfield, very close to the US36/Wadsworth interchange.

Wed. night I paid close attention to alot of cars that I believe were stock; STI's/Evo's=mid to high 14's, GTO's=low15's, 05 Stang's=mid15's, C5's=mid to high 14's, but you really have to look at each car, caus most have some mod's. Compared to sea level, I think were 1.2 slower here.

The guys I saw pull off a 13.6 or whatever with their stock STi's were getting 1.6 60' times. Most drivers can't pull that off.
