Drag Racing Fontana Speedway Nov 12 hey for all you drag racers out there.
WCFB is goin to the Fontana Speedway on November 12th for drag racing. anyone is invited to come. its $10 for spectators and $20 to race, so if ya wanna come meet up with other fbods or come check out our club stop by the Fontana Speedway [aka california speedway] 9am - 6pm.

Once again fuddled by plans. I actually got the day off. Then I find out I have a wedding to go to the following weekend. Impossible to get two weekends off in a row. 
Sigh...
Actually I am kinda glad plans changed. Too many mouths go to Fontana and talk when they return, if you know what I mean. Plus open track day there I here you only get like 2 runs in.
I think Ill take it to LACR or Pamona...

Just an FYI: IDRC(Import Drag Racing Circuit) will be at LACR this weekend so the crowds might not be too bad at Fontana.
That being said the last street legal event had 9 run groups(50 cars per) and a UTI group so probably 500 cars. I got 3 runs in by 9:30 and I left before getting my 4th run. There weren't any major oil downs/breakages which helped.

I thought Fontana was closed for the year? If theyre not Im definitely down to go with my new setup!
Fontana isnt the greatest track there is and everyone knows that but its still damn good fun for $20

I'll be there. Car will most likely be dirty. Damn this rain!! Won't have time to wash it before Sat. morning. Car just keeps getting faster every time I go. I just put in a new fuel filter and NGK plugs today in the rain. Lots of fun, but did the plugs in an hour and ten minutes for my first time changing them. See you guys there.

Fontana was great on saturday. There was no one there to spectate, mostly all racers. The usual plethora of SRT-4s, STIs, and Evos were there, along with the LS1's and others. Pretty fun, lots of quick cars!
