definately not the hypertech.
could very well be the plugs, like i said, start the car, and pull one wire at a time to see if they affect the idle, if you pull one and the idle is the same, that plug sucks.

Checker too. Make sure you didnt suck up a piece of trash, my firebird did that to me once. Got caught on the MAF before it got sucked in. Were is an ignition scope when you need one.
